Reviews for Hotel Bellevue Grächen

Review 1:If you're looking for a luxurious experience this isn't the hotel for you.

Review 2:It really is the Hotel Bellevue - stunning views of the mountains and village of Grachen St Niklaus. Hotel was clean, comfortable with a reasonable sized room and bathroom and good value for money. Lovely fresh bread at breakfast. Perfect for the Tour de Monte Rosa route.

Review 3:There are no cars allowed in Grachen and the city garage was blocked by a local volley ball event. When we finally found a place to park we walked around town until we found the hotel. After ringing the bell and waiting about 5 minutes for someone to arrive we were finally waited on. The hotel has a small motorized vehicle to help guests bring in luggage, when we asked about it the lady behind the desk stated that her husband was not available to drive the cart at the moment. After walking all the way back to our vehicle and getting our luggage we were passed by the hotels cart with no offer to help haul our luggage.

Review 4:Beautiful location, unfortunately our balcony faced the blank wall of another building.

Review 5:The staff is not English speaker. Is a turistic area and they should speak english. The wii fii not reach the 3rd floor. In our room one bad was half broken. The breakfast was good but poor for the price.

Review 6:The view from or room at the 3rd floor was amazing

Review 7:Not great breakfast - fairly basic; bread, cheese, ham, cereals. Though I did get boiled eggs one day. It's a basic hostel-style place with a few individual rooms- perfect if (like me) you'll be spending all day out in the mountains.

Review 8:Good location only a short walk from the centre. Fairly inexpensive for CH.

Review 9:Only 1 issue...The hotel is a good 20 minute uphill Walk from the busstation.. A nightmare with baggage...however...on checkout..the ownergraciously agreed to drop us n our bags to the bus..if this can be donefor arrivals as well..this place is awesome. .

Review 10:The location....Grachen is a small quaint village tucked in themouthing...but with ample transportation n touristif facilities such asinformation counter...groceries. .Restaurants...Church. .Etc

Review 11:The breakfast was a bit meager for the 10 chf per person. Coffee was lukewarm, but hey, it's a two star. Mold in the bathroom

Review 12:Separate room for the child. Wifi in room- more or less.

Review 13:No car park due to it being a Car-free village. Free carpark was available but not sure how long that will last (as it was being built). Staff didn't speak much English but was very pleasant.

Review 14:great mountain view from our balcony. The village itself is lovely and very peaceful. Fairly cheap for what you get.

Review 15:Internet but this is not a big deal for me and didn't affect my experience

Review 16:1. Spacious rooms 2. Great view from the room 3. Friendly staff 4. Amazing hospitality and the dinner at short notice 5. The owner was such a friendly man and he made our experience very pleasant

Review 17:Parking in Grachen is too expenses and not fair: I paid for two days, even I parked only one night.

Review 18:Excellent view, a lot of beautiful mountains, closed to Zermatt/Matherhorn

Review 19:At the web site it was said that kitchen is available for everone for self cooking - it wasn't!!! It was realy uncomfrotable. We should know about it earlier...

Review 20:The staff could be a tiny tad friendlier. She was much friendlier on the 2 nd day. Bathroom shared, however, just next door to room. Distance to centre.

Review 21:Cosy atmosphere, cleanliness, comfortable beds and bedding. Quiet. Generous and good breakfast! Great value! Ideal for groups.

Review 22:The only drawback was that it was about a 15 minute walk to the bus stop.

Review 23:The hotel was charming and the view of the surrounding mountains was fabulous! The hotel owner was very helpful. It was also very reasonably priced for the area. The breakfast was simple but sufficient.

Review 24:You get what you pay for. It is cheap (for Switzerland) but is on par with a hostel room. Also is a fair walk from the town parking areas which is a pain when you are travelling with a family.

Review 25:We were the only guests at Hotel Bellevue when we stayed there (beginning of July), so it was very quiet and peaceful. Breakfast, which was very good, was served in a comfy room that felt like someone's living room - when there are more people staying at the hotel, it might be different. The building is perhaps a bit old and worn, but the room was clean and in good condition. The staff didn't really speak English, but they were very friendly, so we managed just fine. In general, nothing special, but a nice place, good value for money.

Review 31:There was no internet coverage inside the room

Review 32:The view from the balcony is excellent. Was Offered BF Free of cost.

Review 33:Nothing

Review 34:A lovely hotel just away from city center; A wonderful inn-keep; This is not a luxury hotel, but a hiker/skier - friendly hotel that is perhaps the best bargain in town; Basic but accomodating with private bath; Great views of valley from room balcony.

Review 35:The furniture could do with a replacement. Lot of it is somewhat unstable

Review 36:Good service Wonderful and warm owner Great location. A little off the town center.

Review 37:noisy

Review 38:cheap and cheerful
