Review 5:Great hotel, staff friendly &very helpful. Food in hotel restaurant in the evening was excellent. Good location would have liked to stay longer than the one night. Helps if you like church bells -rang at 6am Monday morning but if I lived there would probably use as my alarm clock!

Review 6:No free wi-fi?

Review 7:Food was excellent, served by very friendly and helpful English speaking waitress, with a clearly talented Chef who not only cooked our meal to an exemplary standard, but also went out of his way to ensure we were welcomed and comfortable upon arrival.

Review 8:The village and hotel Rossle are quaint, authentic and beautiful. Although it takes a bit of effort to get there it is well worth it. The Black Forest region is scenic and Hotel Rossle is magnificent. The family run hotel is freindly and comfortable. May be our best one night stay in Germany. Highly recommend.

Review 9:We were staying for one night. The owner met us on arrival and showed us a garage for our motorcycles. The rooms were comfortable and looked out over a stream. While we did not eat at the hotel the menu looked very good. Breakfast was good. The owner spoke very good English.

Review 10:Bathroom in older part of hotel (standard room) very small and outdated, not as shown in pictures (maybe we had the last Booking.com room ?). WiFi only available by purchasing Telekom Hotspot card (5 Euro for 24hrs)

Review 21:Everything

Review 22:no fridge in bedroom

Review 23:lovely hostess with superb English good breakfast excellent dinner in the restaurany friendly and helpful

Review 24:There was no kettle in the rooms for making tea.

Review 25:The hotel was well situated for visiting different places in the blackforest. Modern bathroom, cosy and nice, but slightly more dated, bedrooms. Had no issues with hearing noise from other guests and the place was pretty full. Breakfast was pretty extensive: fruit, cereals, meats, boiled eggs, breads etc.. There is free parking at the hotel - and if the spaces are full you can also park for free on the other side of the road. Alpirsbach is quite small, but it's a cute town and we had a yummy dinner there one night at Zwickel & Kaps, which is just around the corner from the hotel.

Review 26:no real dislikes

Review 27:Extremely helpful and pleasant staff, very much a family concern. They really did everything to make us welcome, good advice about places to visit etcc.. The free train travel was a very unexpected bonus to our stay in the region. Breakfast was lovely and the restaurant meal was fabulous

Review 28:Having to buy WiFi time - a minor irritation but free access would have been good.

Review 29:We loved this place. It is totally charming and the staff could not have been more helpful.

Review 30:The young woman at the front desk, who seems to be the manager of the hotel, was wonderful! Extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area. She also was in charge of the restaurant and I'm assuming one of the family members who own the hotel, which added to the homey aspect of the hotel. The breakfast and restaurant was excellent and the public areas were very festively decorated for the Christmas season. Would highly recommend it for anyone staying in the Black Forest area!

Review 31:The owners were very kind and spoke English. Our room was very comfortable and the bathroom was fantastic! It was very modern and updated. Location was nice with an easy walk into town. We ate breakfast at the hotel and dinner one night at a lovely italian restaurant close to the hotel. We would stay at Hotel Rossle again and recommend it as an afordable place to stay in a very scenic location.

Review 32:Even though it is updated and very nice the room still had an outdated feel to it. the bathroom was well appointed though.

Review 33:Great location to the main street, great breakfast.

Review 34:The only what we could complain about was the weather :)

Review 39:The staff were helpful and friendly, happy to speak english when westruggled with the german language. Rooms were 1st class as was the foodin the restaurant. Motorcycle friendly with use of a secure garage. Verygood value hotel.

Review 40:We didn't eat at the restaurant at the hotel as we thought it too pricey, and the menu was also a little too adventurous for us, but may be of interest to those who like experiencing gourmet food.

Review 41:Staff were very friendly and also spoke English, the room was spacious, comfortable, and we also had our own private balcony which was lovely. Excellent location for the Black Forest, hiking, tourism etc. The surrounding area has plenty of places to eat too, lots of choice.

Review 42:Alpirsbach - highly recommended! A very nice, small village with an own brewery producing very fine beers. Hotel Rössle was the best in its price category (and overall, too!) during my 2-week trip. Price/quality ratio five stars.
