Review 1：There was no staff. I have to checked in by phone and enter in by machine. The hotel didn't offer wify password. And the hotel location is not good. It is very inconvenient.

Review 3：To far away from Alpirsbach if walking at night. No Taxi Service as the one we were given wouldn't come for over1.5hrs. Bus stops at 19.20. Krone Hotel I expected to be open for food and drinks, this wasn't an option. Nobody from the hotel to meet and greet. To isolated.
Review 4：Hard to say what we liked. Had th bar and restuarant been open, this would have been a good place. I would only recommend to others, but tell them to eat early and take drinks with them.
Review 5：Only one complaint that is partially my fault anyway: We arrived very late and pretty much checked in by phone. There was no staff on site, so we couldn't ask for wifi password which we forgot to do over the phone. Since it was midnight by that time, I didn't feel calling the person would be appropriate. I'd suggest to the hotel leaving password for wifi in the room hotel booklet.
Review 6：How quiet it was around. The hotel called us to make sure we have directions on how to enter the hotel as checking desk closes after 10pm and we arrived later.
Review 7：The room was comfortable and spacious with a balcony. Unfortunately we couldn't get wifi in the room but could in the breakfast area. The hotel was quiet and the staff were friendly. The breakfast was good with a wide selection.
Review 8：To check-in one has to call a tel. number shown at the door to get a code. The person answering the phone did not speak English, fortunately my German is good enough to understand the instructions.
Review 9：The rooms are very clean and spacious, the personel is very friendly, breakfast is ok. This hotel is an excellent base for exploration of Schwarzwald area.
Review 10：I was lucky to have chosen to arrive on a Thursday evening as there was actually a member of staff there to check me in. At other times there's just a number to ring. On the Saturday and Sunday evenings there were no staff present and the restaurant wasn't open.There was no advance notice of this and there didn't appear to be any alternative eateries within walking distance. When the restaurant was open, the menu was extremely limited, more bar snacks than proper food.
