These renovated stables from the early 1900s are now home to Youth Hostel Baden. Located on the banks of Limmat River, it offers a pleasant terrace with table tennis and vending machines. Wi-Fi is free in public areas.
Rooms here are heated and each includes a table with chairs. The windows are big and look out to the surrounding park. Bed linen are also provided in the rooms.
Buffet breakfast is available every day at Baden Youth Hostel, and packed lunches can be prepared upon request.
Baden Train Station is about 15 minutes’ walk away from the hostel. The Aue sports complex is also located nearby.

Review 1：Great place, clean with well situated bathrooms. A little hard to find as it's eell below the road down by the river, but very close to the town center. Good value and we'll appointed.
Review 2：Parking is possible only in a public parking area in front of the building with limited time frame. Prepare your coins. There is no toaster in the kitchen.

Review 23：friendly staff members; very spacious rooms; not a popular youth hostel, so there weren't too many people; clean and neat; cheaper than the YH in Zurich. I really enjoyed the stay in Baden YH. There are two stories in my 6-bed dorm, and I was lucky enough to have the upper story (3 beds) all to myself. Highly recommended!
Review 24：The only drawback is they do not have a common kitchen for the guests to cook, and also they say you cannot eat inside the bedroom (what??? we did eat some fruits, come on...). I found it a bit strange, given that Youth Hostels specially host people with little money, so if you want to save some CHF on food, you will have a hard time there. But this is not at all a reason for not staying at the hostel!
Review 25：The hostel is very well located (quiet neighbourhood and at a walk distance from the city centre), staff is super friendly, the bedroom very comfy and clean, and the common bathrooms (male and female) are very clean too. I totally recommend the place!!
Review 26：No kitchen for public use, strange policy no eating and drinking in the rooms, wifi availability is very limited, only parts of groundfloor. Very good location but construction works nearby,so early wake up guaranteed.
Review 27：Quoted price excluded day membership of Hostelling International which wasn't immediately obvious when booking. Window was directly above where smokers sat so opening the window wasn't always a pleasant experience. Nowhere secure to store my bike. Late check in at 5pm

Please note that if booked before 15 June 2015, non-members of the Youth Hostel Association have to pay a day membership fee of CHF 6 per person/night or of CHF 12 family/night. For bookings made after 15 June 2015, room rates include the daily membership of Swiss Youth Hostels and Hostelling International.Also, note that towels are not included in the room rate. Guests can rent them at the property or bring their own.
