Reviews for Hotel Arinsal
Review 1:Sometimes sounds like people are in your room but they're not they're in the next room. The room I was in didn't receive any wifi was only until I got to the stair case I could connect but it wasn't that big a deal for me.
Review 2:Was very very cheap compared to other hotels round about it. You can come and go as you please. Not far from the gondola and right beside lots of restaurants and pubs.
Review 3:Rooms were a little small on some of them. But nothing that the cost doesn't reflect.
Review 4:Danny the hotel manager was helpful. Easy to access slopes and only 50 metres from bars and restaurants. Which is close but also just far enough away from the noise. Perfect really.
Review 5:Lack of staff. None around at night. Woken in early hours by drunk man crashing into doors shouting and running around corridors for 2 hours. Quite intimidating!
Review 6:Good position in the village close to the gondola
Review 7:Our room opposite very noisy Pub/restaurant, noise kept us up till 3 am. No plug in basin even though we asked 3 times! Mattress springs were shot, could feel the lumps in mattress, definitely time to be replaced
Review 8:Convenient to the start of the walking trail. Close to restaurants.
Review 9:no wi-fi
Review 10:- the owners are very responsive, - room is clean - near the capital (<10 km) - telecabina < 200m
Review 11:Friendly owner/manager
Review 12:Room small for 3 (2 Adults and child) and lack of shelving
Review 13:Location, staff(especially Danny), lounge/bar and cleanness
Review 14:One of the rooms hadnt been cleaned. It had dirty sheets and pillows, empty bottles on the bedside table. Both bathrooms were filthy. Very unimpressed.
Review 15:The windows and door needed upgrading. It could be noisy from the bar. There was a door in the corridor that could have been closed to reduce noise but this wasn't used. The buffet offered in the partner hotel as part of half board was not nice.
Review 16:The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was very convenient for the ski lift. There was a friendly relaxed atmosphere. The room was warm.
Review 17:Hotel Arinsal was closed and I first didn't see the sign on the door that this hotel was closed, but a kind person hotel worker walked me to the Hotel Compoderoso where are reservations were acknowledged.
Review 18:Really appreciated the friendly and helpful staff, breakfast and individually made coffee, convenient location. River outside our window was soothing and picturesque.
Review 19:Breakfast was a bit weak, though cant really complain for the price.
Review 20:Unbelievable price for the facilitys Very helpful and friendly staff Nice Food Good location
Review 21:THis evaluation refers to the Hotel Coma Pedrosa - Our booking had beenchanged from the Hotel Arinsal to the Coma Pedrosa as they said they hada large group of disabled staying and that it was likely we would bebetter accommodated at the Coma Pedrosa. Hotels rooms were reasonablebut the evening meal which formed part of the package was very poor andthe evening staff inefficient. Breakfast was good and day staff good.
Review 22:We were moved to Hotel Compedrosa as Hotel Arinsal was shut due to lack of customers (they are owned by the same people). The hotel was well located for the Pic de Comapedrosa trek (amazing, tiring and exhilarating), with a great little bar and restaurant. The room was clean, and comfortable.
Review 23:The rooms are very very basic and have not been refurbished for many years. Compared with other hotels in the resort, the bedrooms are sparce, the beds are hard, and the bathrooms need renewing.
Review 24:The position is close to the main ski lift, and the staff were friendly.
Review 25:The acoustic insulation is poor and the rooms are small. Nearby arelocated some pubs who could cause some disturbance, especially iftravelling with young kids. There's also no closed door or physicalbarrier to separate the hotel's bar and dinning room. As a result anddue to poor ventilation of the bar area, some smoke entered the dinningroom which was annoying. It seems that European regulations are not yetin force in Andorra.
Review 26:Very close (under 100 m) to Arinsal's ski station gondola. Good valuefor money and very friendly staff. The quality and variety of thebreakfast was also surprising good for a 2 star unit. No machine servedjuice or milk, good cereals and regional cheese and pudding atdisposal. Moreover, and although I didn't book for half board, I wasvery pleased with the quality and variety of the food served at dinningtime. After a lot more expensive and less-than good experience on theday of arrival in a well known restaurant in the vicinity, I dinnedevery single day on Arinsal hotel. I highly recommend dinning there. The quality of the food was a lot better than a few 4 star hotels I'veexperienced in Spanish Islands, in the past. Three-course choice tochoose from and some great entries.
