Review 1：The location is really good and lovely, my outside room view was breathtakingly beautiful. The room, toilet, shower room, kitchen, dining area were all clean, wifi connection was fast, there are also car park provided for people who travel with car. worth the money ! I had a great one night stay there with my group of friends :)

Review 2：The entire building i stayed was sooo smelly. Towels in the toilet/shower room and linen were filthy and smelly also. Customer service at the receiption needs improvement. There are nothing positive about this place. Cheap, but I still feel like I wasted money. I will definitely not going back.

Review 13：Great place to stay in Lauterbrunnen. We had checked in late at night and woke up to a magnificent view of the waterfall. You cannot go wrong with the location as everything you need is just a stone's throw away from this hostel. The local pub is just a couple blocks away and dining options are pretty good.

Review 14：Very near to train station and many other areas such as Wengen, Murren and Jungfrau regions. We also like it that Coop supermarket is just a few minutes by foot and that kitchen is well-equipped to cook up a warm meal. Highly recommended.

Review 15：We stayed in a twin room and the view you get from the balcony is incredible, the view alone is enough reason to stay here. Very clean and kitchen had everything you could need. Perfect location.

Review 16：Good value for the money in Lauterbrunnental. A little bit surprised by Czech-speaking staff, but it's actually not rare in that area. Close to the railway and railway station. Note for Zuzana: The Coop at Interlaken Ost is opened on Sunday as well :-)

Review 19：I stayed here for 5 nights whilst exploring the Lauterbrunnen Valley, and could not have been happier with my choice; the staff are extremely helpful with whatever you need, and given the expense of Switzerland in general, it was a relief that the kitchen was well outfitted, and the hostel so well situated within the town.

Review 20：I was jealous of seeing other guests did cooking their own meal in the kitchen in evening. I did not have anything to cook..unexpectedly the nearest shops have been closed when I cameback from mountain village around 7pm. A note to remind the guests that the shops in Switzerland close early in evening.

Review 21：Very nice place to stay. The view behind the hostel is beautiful particularly the train just is coming from the hill. From hostel we just need few steps to get train station, bus stop, cable car station, and reataurants.

Review 23：I don't regret at all booking this place!! The view from the window is magnificent!! You can see the waterfall from there!! We even had our dinner at the balcony facing the waterfalls! A short walk from lauterbrunnen train station. Oh and the bed is so comfy makes me don't want to get up! Overall I'm happy with my stay!! I wish I can get up every day with the view like this!!

Review 28：The staff were very friendly and helpful with everything. They even helped us translate some cooking instructions on some food we bought! Haha We stayed in a private room with a double bed. The room was a good size. Big windows. Most have a balcony, but ours didn't. Although there was still a communal balcony with a table if you wanted to eat or have some drinks outside. The kitchen was very convenient as restaurants are so expensive in Switzerland. Lauterbrunnen was a great place to stay. Everything is within walking distance.

Review 32：The twin room we had was tiny, not nearly big enough for two people. The double rooms looked a lot bigger. Not enough facilities. Kitchen was tiny in the area we stayed in and could not accommodate more than one person at a time. The hostel was extremely noisy. We were woken up at least half dozen times a night by banging doors, creaking, people cooking or in bathroom or going up the stairs.

Review 37：This is a hostel located at a beautiful small town. There is a train station right next to the hostel for those who travel by train. There is gas station and a supermarket within walking distance. The facility is clean and they clean the kitchen and the bathroom daily. You are asked to take your shoes off and walk in the facility in slippers. This kerps the place clean. The location is awesome! From the window of your room you can see the alps! This was my first time staying at a hostel with my adult daughters. It was an interesting experience specially watching teens and young adults around the kitchen. Some were sloppy making a mess and some were organized.

Review 39：we really like our 3d2n there. the hostel really near to the train station (lauterbrunnen). the view is magnificent. our room (room 2) is actually facing the mountain and waterfall. very peaceful place. the kitchen is very big and they have a lot of utensil to cook. the toilet is clean. our receptionist (suzy) is very friendly and welcome us very nicely. overall i will recommend people to go here.

Review 40：This was a fantastic hostel. It is a hostel with a shared bathroom, so keep that in mind. But, it was very clean, and we had no problems. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

He explained the hiking trails and other main attractions to see in Lauterbrunnen. He was readily available to answer all of your questions. Overall, a pleasant stay! :)

Review 69：Very help friendly staff. Happy to offer advice on the best things to do in the area. No shoes inside policy adds to the relaxed atmosphere and the free use of slippers is a great idea. Kitchen facilities are good and the outdoor area is perfect place to relax after a hard day of hiking. Had the best three nights sleep I've had in over three weeks. Bathrooms get a bit messy but that's otter guests rudeness not the hostels fault.

Review 86：Staff was excellent and professional. I mean they are taking their job to their heart - from reception to cleaning the facility. I liked the vibe of the place. From private room I could watch the famous waterfall. I stayed at Murren for 1 day after checking out the Valley hostel. They allowed me to keep my luggages in their storage room. Since I was travelling with a toddler, it was a great help. My daughter loved tge excitement of sleeping in the upper bed. I really thank the dedicated team of staff runninng this facility. Review 87：We appreciated a budget option in Lauterbrunnen. We had a small twin room with bunk beds. There was no sink in the room, which would have been nice. But the hostel was clean and efficiently run, and we would recommend it.

Review 88：We had to change rooms for the last night, and it was the complete opposite, old kitchen and facilities, no air conditioning, no wifi in the room, if u opened your window, people from the street could look straight into the room, and really noisy was kept awake half the night and again at 5am in morning with a large group of people

Review 103：I am very happy with this hostel. We got a room with a balcony, at any time it was possible to admire with a mountains and waterfall. Hostel is very clean, they are cleaning daily, guests are asked to wear slippers. Also I like the spacy kitchen, there you can find everything what you might need. Fridge shelfes are divided for every room, just like some baskets. Probably the best hostel I have stayed.

Review 104：I love the location of the hostel which very close to the train station and next to the Staubbach Waterfall. Huge kitchen that allows you to cook for large number of people.

Review 105：We liked that our room had a lovely balcony that overlooked out into the Valley. The room is spacious and had handy shelves. The kitchen and toilet were easily accessible and you get your own cupboard where you can store your groceries. Stefan was very helpful and informative with all the excursions, and even changed our light bulb. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back. Thank you.

Review 107：The view from my room is amazing. Overlooking the staubbach falls, its minutes away from the cable car and railway station. Shared bathroom is clean. I love the kitchen that was just outside my room. The triple room is really spacious too. It was a perfect stay!

Review 117：The staff seems to keep minimum hours on site, so the usual busy and chummy hostel atmosphere is mostly missing. That's true of Switzerland in general, however.

Review 118：The Lauterbrunnen and Jungfrau areas are amazing and Valley Hostel is right in the middle of it. Trains, food, trails and everything you need is at your doorstep. And did I mention the free Wifi? Works great.

One would expect your bed to be made when you check in, but had to do everything including putting duvet cover over the inner and pillow into pillow case plus had to take all linnen of and leave in a basket on check out. Also washup own dishes when a dishwasher is available but locked and only for staff use. Not my idea of a hassle free holiday. Kitchen is also closed for hours as well as no reception staff for 3 hours a day. No bathrooms for 2 hours a day.

Review 123：This is my second stay at Valley Hostel. I came back to Valley Hostel because it is really a value for money place to stay. Very near to Lauterbrunnen train stn make it very convenient to gp anywhere. COOP is just around the corner i you need to shop for groceries. It has a magnificient view you can enjoy even from your room. The pantry/kitchen is fully equipped so that you can cook and eat just like home. The staffs also are very friendly and helpful.

Review 125：We stayed in a quad room which had 2 mattresses up on a mezzanine for our teenagers. Room was spacious. Sparce but had all you needed including small table. Door opening onto balcony with fantastic views if the town, waterfall and trains winding their way up to Wengen. Great value for 4 people when hotel and B&B accommodation is expensive in Switzerland. Each floor has 2 showers and 2 toilets so more than ample for approx 6 rooms per floor. Very well equipped kitchen with all cooking pans, crockery etc. Would definitely stay there again.

Review 126：All the facilities are scattered around. The reception close early and hang the keys outside the door. My first night was really scary, with only me and a guy in a mixed dorm. Couldn't switch room because the reception is not there

Balcony with great view, fully equipped kitchen, low density of shared bathroom and there's even laundromat in front of the hostel! Very valued for the price we paid. Review 132：The room was spacious with a bathroom and kitchen just outside the door (this is additional to the large communal kitchen) The place is spotless and the views to die for. The staff topped off a wonderful stay with their kindness and attitude.
