Review 2：I really enjoyed the stay as the room I was in a theme room was very enjoyable and comfortable and the hotel layout as far as lounge, restaurant and casino are located in conjunction with lobby is great

Review 3：The room air conditioner cut off after a couple of hours at night and room was too hot. Resetting it started it for another period after which it shut off again.

Review 4：Poor reception, staff not interested in welcoming us, served people who arrived AFTER us as they knew them. Been here before and used to be really quirky but its had a refurbishment and all that has gone. Could now be any run of the mill, corporate place Seems to have lost all its charm, shame !

Review 6：Booking was cancelled mistakenly but when I called I was assured that my room was secure. When I arrived I was told that the room was available but booking.com never notified them of the reinstatement. Only place I've stayed without complimentary hairdryer(1st time I left mine behind)

Review 10：Very quaint, nicely quiet and easy to find. Who would have thought you would get those things in a casino hotel with a bar attached just off the main highway? Not me. I was very pleasantly surprised!

Review 11：No iron on the room but an antique sewing machine in the room! Electrical sockets overburdened and TV came unplugged and needed rebooting. Not a very usable space. Quirky but not good value.

Review 24：Liked the split rooms, the door that could be shut between the LR and bedroom (I'm an early riser) and the overall line of the room. The curtains fascinated my companion. She mentioned them several times. It wasn't fussy and it was well kept.

Review 25：The washroom was the one area in need of a renovation. The plumbing was not pressure-balanced and changed temperature while we were showering. There was little counter space near the sink.

Review 26：Although the room was small, it was clean, newly renovated and comfortable for an overnight stay. It was in the heart of the town and we could walk to many restaurants and shops. The staff was polite and services oriented. Although we are not gamblers, the casino seemed to have a large local following.

Review 35：I like that the building is of historical interest. The outer facade (looking like a paddlewheeler) is great. I especially like, and this is the main reason we booked this hotel, that the rooms are decorated in an interesting manner, and are not just the regular run-of-the-mill hotel decor. We had a four poster bed covered with a quilt--very attractive.

Review 112：In the morning, before we were awake, we could hear everything out in the hallway. Maybe we were across from the cleaning foom? but we could hear teh comings and goings and laughter. Normally you don't mind but when you are having a great sleep you don't like to be woken by outside noise.
