Review 1：Though the overall experience was great, the hotel was a bit far when you walk from where the train stops.

Review 3：The room was very basic, would have been useful to have a mini fridge and microwave given how quiet it was during this time of year. Room wasn't cleaned in four days, so I guess it is more like a hostel... But there are no hostel facilities.

Review 8：Very noisy in the night. All travlers who don't need a rest just gathered in the front door and they were very loud outside until 0:30. (it said that sometime it will continue to 3 a.m.) You have no chance to fall in spleep before midnight! The Hotel should delare this special condition on booking.com! The owner told me I should know it because its name "pub". Come on, how can I judge this just by the name "pub"?. In such logic, if you are called "Jungfrau" hotel, then you should provide young girl?

Review 16：Nice staff, advise you to stay on the 3rd floor at night so you don't hear the rowdy crowd at the pub during the night. I think they close at 12am. We stayed on 3rd floor and it was quiet. Had great view of the waterfall from our room too (number 35). Lots of base jumpers and Americans at the hotel too. Free Wifi. Great value for your money, we never had a problem using the shared bathrooms and showers when we needed them and never had to wait. I asked staff numerous questions over email and they were more than happy to reply and promptly! We went as a couple and seemed to be the only couple there, seems to be more backpackers and base jumpers. But this wouldn't deter us from going again due to great value for money.
Review 17：Rooms above a pub; on Friday and Saturday rowdy crowd at outside tables even after closing kept us up past 3 am. I would not stay there ever again because of this.

Review 20：There was an awesome view from our room. The room itself was clean and cosy. Lots of space. The location was perfect. The pub only went off once while we were there and we didn't hear much noise either. Nice people. Everyone speaks English.
Review 21：The only thing to keep in mind is that the hotel is on top of a pub, which doesn't close until midnight. So it can be a little loud at night with the windows open. We never had any major problems though!
Review 22：The staff were really wonderful, so helpful and friendly. Our room was very comfortable with plenty of room and a private shower. The shared toilets were always clean. The hotel is right in the middle of town and it isn't too far to anything! And the pub underneath serves delicious meals and drink at very good prices. We really loved our stay here!

Review 37：Hotel Hornerpub was a great stay for me and my bf. Right away when we checked in we were greeted by two amazing staff members named Angie and Bernadette. They realized that we were a couple and upgraded our room for free! I have to give a special thanks to Angie, she is simply the best. She always helped when we needed it and even offered to do our laundry. Hotel hornerpub is in a great location. The mountains, waterfalls etc. spectacular nature. We also really enjoyed the food , pasta and chicken sandwiches were our favourite. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes a chalet type of room. We loved this hotel!
Review 38：We just needed somewhere to sleep- and it was perfect...rooms clean, communal bathroom clean and rarely in use, all quiet, with enough storage and privacy. We didn't mind that there was no breakfast- we just walked up the street! Being above the pub was also very handy :-) We'll be going again.
Review 39：Noisy and not able to open window due to cigarette smoke from bar. My sheets smelled cigarette! Walls are paper thin. You can hear EVERYTHING! No housekeeping the entire time I was there! No hand soap in the restrooms which makes everything feel dirty! Hallway lights do not have sensors which makes it dangerous and inconvenient in the dark!

It's a lively bar at first floor, every people seems know each other, but it's quiet at sleep time after 10pm. No wifi in the room, but we find a free wifi near the door not belong to the hotel.

The rooms are very small and thebathroom is down the hall but the price was significantly less thanother hotels so was worth those minor inconveniences. The beds werecomfortable and the bathrooms new. The hotel is over a pub but there isone to two floors between that and the rooms so as long as you kept thewindow shut - noise and smoke isn't a problem.
