Reviews for Atrium Hotel Blume

Review 1:The approach by car past some semi-derelict buildings before entering the small 'and lovely 'plaza' where the hotel is situated. Room decor ready for a refresh.

Review 2:The charming historical decor around the very unusual Atrium. Use of Spa Car Park. Access to hotel Spa facilities. Convenient access to Baden centre.

Review 3:personal approach to client service; clients receive full attention (until all questions are addressed) even when many guests are around; the hotel is special with its period furnishings, attention to details and excellent bath facilities; very close to the Limmat river and the walking path beside it; very quaint quarter; wonderful experience!

Review 4:The first time I entered the hotel it was difficult to find the reception and go around. Having more/clear signs directing you to the right place (reception, restaurant, etc) could be helpful. Bathroom didn't have a door.

Review 5:The ambience and nice decorations throughout the hotel. Also having the restaurant on the inner hallway/balcony decorated with lots of plants and flowers gives a relaxing experience to enjoy your meal. Staff were also very friendly and helpful, typical Swiss :)

Review 6:The room is quite small with 2 large luggages and a small luggage. The double bed is also very small.

Review 7:Very quiet and lovely hotel. Pretty new decoration.

Review 8:Swiss hospitality at its best. Attentive staff, charming historic site, private thermal baths at your request (make sure you reserve your time!) excellent food and wine list. Will accommodate special food requests or needs

Review 9:It was such a friendly, homely and well looked after hotel. Wonderful antiques on display, all so interesting, with the added bonus of the Spa and the budgies! I loved the atrium and how all the tables were set around it. Must be a unique arrangement!

Review 10:It would have been nice to have had some complimentary water in the room. CHF9 (GBP 7) for a bottle of water seemed to be excessive.

Review 11:The free use of the spa facilities and mineral baths. The beautiful atrium layout of the hotel. The staff were lovely and helpful.

Review 12:I thought the buffet breakfast could have been a little more interesting, it was perfectly adequate but rather dull?

Review 13:The staff were very helpful and friendly, any query was dealt with promptly, they were all very accommodating. I really enjoyed my visit.

Review 14:Some dust everywhere.

Review 15:The staff was very helpful and polite, he gave us all the information we needed. The room was comfortable and the hotel is in a peaceful position, not far from the center of Baden (5 min walking). The hotel had a very particular and nice atrium. The parking garage was very close to the hotel.

Review 16:We had only two issues: one, on our first night, a wedding was taking place and the music was rather loud. It quieted down eventually. Two, don't expect AC, but the room cooled down over the course of the night. In reading reviews though, it seems that most hotels in the area don't have AC.

Review 17:As many have mentioned, Zurich is EXPENSIVE, so we were looking for an option convenient to Zurich but more affordable. The Hotel Blume was a good choice. It's a 8-10 min. walk to the very clean and convenient train station. We never had to wait more than 10 min. for a train. We were in Zurich in about 20 min. The beds were comfortable and the room and bathroom spacious. The furnishings were not fancy, but adequate. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet.

Review 18:Nothing particular

Review 19:Very friendly and efficient staff; very clean room; nice breakfast; good atmosphere

Review 39:Magnicent historical architecture. Excellent staff who were very helpful and caring. Tasty enjoyable food.

Review 40:- There was a major water leak and even after I complained I was not moved to another room - There was no soap or empty bottles when I got in to the shower; took the staff 8 hours to refill - The entire carpet was wet for the entire stay and the room was smelling disgusting

Review 41:Location

Review 42:The room had only one tiny window and the walls were painted gray, that made for a very dark space.

Review 43:Staff was very attentive and welcoming. The baths are delightful. The public areas are lit by a wonderful atrium with parakeets twittering softly and plants everywhere, very inviting. Bed was comfortable and the area is closed to through traffic so it was very peaceful.

Review 44:Nothing. The fact that I have returned to the hotel on a number of occasions proves how much I enjoy my stay.

Review 45:I love the old world charm of the hotel and the fact that a guest is not confined to the room. It is lovely to sit out on the atrium and listen to the sound of the waterfall and the birds

Review 46:The spa is a total joke. We were kicked out in a very rude manner from the thermal bath. The gentleman was more interested in selling the baths to external customers than taking care of his hotel guests. The rest of a spa consists of a steam room and finish spa which is not why we travelled to Baden for. Very rude attitude

Review 47:Nice bedrooms and good breakfast. The hotel is also very nice

Review 48:nothing

Review 49:The staff was terrific. They helped my wife and I get pointed in the right direction and see the beautiful sights in Lugano during our first visit to the area. Loved it.

Review 50:Don't be fool by the pictures... 1- There is no pool! they closed it down. 2- The hamam is limited to 30 minutes and you have to reserve before hand...
