Review 1：The one bedroom suite was very clean and comfortable. It was fully updated including appliances. The kitchen had everything we needed. I would stay at this resort again and again. Very spacious and modern. Nice deep tub and gas fireplace. Bed was super cozy ; )

Review 4：We booked stating that there were 4 of us and we were booked into a one bedroom. When we asked if there was a bigger room we were upgraded but for a substantial cost. But the rooms are gorgeous and the beach stunning.

It's been a few years since we are not booking a traditional hotel room when travelling. It was very clean and quiet. We will definitely return to Cox Bay Beach Resort.
Review 11：*Being so close to the beach in a unique "on the beach" setting. Spectacular views. *Very comfortable accommodation: bedroom/bathroom/kitchen/dining/living room. *Well designed for privacy with own patio chairs and table, plus outdoor tap for removing sand.
Review 12：Lighting was terrible - it was impossible to read a book unless you were at the dining table. Awkward struggle to get luggage to and from the unit due to distance of car from parking lot and having to use a cart to go down the inclined sidewalk. There was no pool.

Review 29：We booked short notice without doing research. Cox Bay Beach Resort surpassed any expectations. The beds are the most comfortables I ever encountered in a hotel/resort setting. The layout of the condos are so smart and efficient. The resort is right on the beach and you hear the ocean when you fall asleep - we all cried internally when it was time to leave

Review 44：Looking for a quiet weekend of relaxing but had children in suite above us running loudly across the floor. Request an new room, were told that we would be charged an extra $70 per night which wasn't acceptable. Staff said they would call the people upstairs to tell them to be quiet... which makes two families unhappy and uncomfortable. Towel in the suite was thread bare and falling apart, large hair ball on floor. Cleaning staff was sent in but did bare minimum. They didn't even pick up the bath mat, just replaced the towel. Staff removed one night charge and appologized for not meeting my standards. A clean, quiet space do not seem like high standards to meet. Staff was not accomodating until I was really unhappy. Won't be recommending this spot to anyone.

Review 51：I don't think staff changed quilt cover huge fresh unwashed blood mark on corner of top bed cover plus 2 long black hairs in bedding when remaking bed, staff does not come 2 nd day so I made our bed. I am too old for first offence and sorry we are both brown short haired. For $170. Per night I should have had clean clean clean. Like I left it for the staff!!!

Review 53：There were a few things that struck us as odd for an otherwise flawless resort: 1) The duvet didn't have a cover on it, which is kind of gross, didn't bother me all that much but my girlfriend said something, and they fixed it right away. 2) Although they told us the hot tub closed at 9pm...why exactly is that necessary? This is an resort where units are owned by individual owners. If you want to be in the hot tub to 10 or even 11, what's the big deal?? Someone said it was off season, but that's maybe even the better time to be in the tub. 3) The WIFI was terrible! Now, not as though it was a huge deal, but we all like to check in on our phones, post pics and what have you. It was made worse by the fact that our wireless carriers didn't have good cell phone coverage in the area either.
Review 54：This place feels and is like a luxurious resort! It's very new, with a west coast wood lodge style of construction. There are few details that this place misses! Each room is a self contained condo with all you need for your stay. They have an amazing hot tub, party room that has a wood burning fireplace and a very nice gym! It is on the best beach in the area in my opinion. Although there's no view of the water from your room everything else that this place has to offer more than makes up for that fact!
Review 55：- A single shared hot tub not ideal. We aren't big on hot tubs but would have considered it if had something private. - Must be aware that windows of each of the units face one another. Not that big of a deal but something to keep in mind at night or if changing. - Bedroom windows at the back next to the walk way. Randomly hear voices/laughing at times. - a 5-7 min drive into Tofino. We used the Tofino taxi (only taxi in the town) the one night we had drinks (big up Jacks). Two lane highway so wasn't going to risk having a few then driving. Also wouldn't be a fun walk back to the hotel in the rain/dark. Plan ahead when drinking. - No restaurant/bar on the premises. Although Long Beach Lodge is right next door, which we were told you can eat/drink at. But on-suite kitchen didn't make this an issue, we bought groceries and often ate in. - WiFi was inconsistent, but it was Tofino so what can you expect? Plus not the worse thing in the world to stay off your phone when out there.
Review 56：- Loved the suite, essentially everything you need. On-suite laundry, dishwasher, full kitchen, fireplace. Went during storm watching season so we knew we would prefer a apartment style vs a small hotel room. - Staff helpful and supply laundry detergent, directions. - Recently built, so bathroom, kitchen etc are all new, work perfect. - Plenty of thermostats plus the fireplace so right temperature could be found (I can't sleep when I'm hot). - Very close to the ocean/beach. As in 50 ft or so. - Workout room was simple but clean, had the basics which was fine. - Minimalist resort, in a good way. Staff are hands off (in a good way). - Real easy to tour around the area. Check out Aphitrite Point Lighthouse in Ecluelet. In the winter the rugged rocks, powerful swells is impressive.

Review 58：This place is the best of both worlds. Centrally located with close access to everything. As well it is perfect for a staycation. Private beach access, good surfing right out front, hot tub, cozy self accommodations, and dining right next door at the long beach lodge.
Review 59：We have stayed several times before in the one bedroom units. This time we stayed in a loft unit. The second bedroom is extremely small. There is barely enough room for a double bed. This is fine for one or two nights max. For longer stays with 3 or more people, I strongly recommend asking for a larger two bedroom unit.

Review 78：We were a mature couple travelling with additional family member, so 3 in a one bedroom. Pull out couch was not comfortable. There were only 2 robes so had to ask for additional robe. Being on ground level the noise from people going up and down the stairs to the top level felt like thunder at times. Cost for three in a one bedroom is a bit high.
