Reviews for Motel de l'Outlet
Review 1:Building exterior appears to be a little old, but the interior appeared to be recently renovated, where the room was very clean with good furnishings. Also enjoyed a common outside deck with chairs for an evening cocktail. The location was great - within easy walking distance to the main strip of stores and restaurants.
Review 2:The room was quite large and the beds were very comfortable. The quality of coffee provided in the room was excellent. We were able to check in 2 hours earlier than the stated time.
Review 3:Not a fan of the two double beds. The bathroom needs a remodel.
Review 4:Close to the action, but not right in the middle of it. The hardwood floor means no concerns about the carpet, but this may be cold in the winter.
Review 5:Bed and pillows weren't terribly comfortable. When I went to check out the hotel office was closed, so ended up just leaving keys in room.
Review 6:Motel is in a convenient location, clean and quiet.
Review 7:Not very modern but still perfect for the price.
Review 8:We stayed because of the proximity to Mont Orford. We were looking for clean, comfortable and affordable. It met all three criteria.
Review 9:There was no fan in the bathroom. We could hear a little bit from the next rooms. Not soundproofed walls but manageable. Wooden porch and balcony were a bit slippery with the snow and ice.
Review 10:Excellent location. Walking distance to shops, bars and restaurants. Right next door to a small food market. The decor was simple but nice. Room was very clean. We made good use of the fridge and microwave. Cozy , simple motel.
Review 11:Room was small and outdated. Clerk didn't speak English, but we made our choices known since my sister speaks a little French. Would have been difficult if she did not. (Owner does speak English but was not there when we checked in.)
Review 12:Room was clean, beds were very comfortable, staff was pleasant, close to town, price was good, included small fridge and microwave, Wi-Fi reception great.
Review 13:I didn't like the curtains sticking on me in the bathtube.
Review 14:I liked the location, there were 2 big beds there was 3 of us. It was a lovely week-end.
Review 15:Very small room with queen bed. Difficult to move in room with two siutcases because of room size. Poor value for price charged. Mislead by positive reviews.
Review 16:Bed was very uncomfortable. (Mattress very soft.) And the double bed was of minimal size.
Review 17:Location was ideal.
Review 18:Very clean, big room, comfortable bed, very clean bathroom, on a good location.
Review 19:Door a little hard to lock and unlock. TV remote control hard to use, maybe needs new batteries.

Review 40:Great location, nice spacious and clean room and helpful staff!
Review 41:Motel could use an outside ice machine, thus we wouldn't have had to bother the owners and/or buy from store next door ...outside of that, very happy with what it is...an older "Motel" with very nice staff, and nice location.
Review 42:Very affordable room...extremely comfy bed...told the owner twice how nice the bed was. Clean... Close to downtown...could walk... Very quiet at night...considering the road is fairly busy during the day. Store next door is fully equipped with lots of stuff...homemade goodies, newspapers, fresh veggies, wine, beer, and ice.
Review 43:It had everything we needed, the rooms were clean and tastefully decorated. Close to the waterfront, main street, restaurants and entertainment. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We would definitely go again!!
Review 44:The motel was great. Very clean, housekeeping does a fantastic job. Pretty spacious room for a motel, clean, nice firm mattress. Room includes fridge, microwave, flat screen TV, hair dryer (that actually works). Walking distance to downtown and main park area. I would stay here again. Stayed in room 8 which was very private - didn't hear any noise from other guests.
Review 45:The outside of the motel needs painting, the deck ,the building. I thought it was expensive for the first appearance and was disapointed. .
Review 46:The owners were very nice. The room was very comfortable and clean. The motel was a walking distance to the restaurant.

Review 48:Close to Mount Orford ski station and parc, but also central location in Magog, walking distance to restaurants, et all. Clean room, well-heated with helpful and very welcoming staff. Quality is very good for the price.
Review 49:Torn blankets, questionable stain on bedskirt, dusty bathroom, fridges that weren't cold enough
Review 50:The managers were friendly and very helpful with giving information. It was close to the downtown. We thought Magog was a pretty little place.
Review 51:Could hear very easily all the plumbing next door, showers etc. Price should have been $60. per night & not $80.00. It's a very basic Motel, we were disappointed.
Review 52:Proximity to the restaurants in Magog
Review 53:Bit of a musty smell to the room. The faucet in the shower leaked continuously.
Review 54:Location was great - 5 min walk from historic downtown and beautiful lake-front park. Our room was clean and quiet (double paned windows). Good sized space. Small fridge/microwave. Free parking on site. Friendly staff.
Review 55:Staff was great. Rooms were updated nicely. Well setup, clean and comfortable. Close to the water and downtown, but on quiet street. Would definately stay agian.
Review 56:(1) The price. We did a five night trip through Quebec and New England and this was the most expensive motel. (2) A bit rustic. One ply toilet paper, thin towels...very basic. Perhaps it was an older room.
Review 57:Closeness to Magog "downtown"and to the lake. All within walking distance. Cleanliness...especially liked the laminate floors instead of carpet. Very quiet....good for sleeping.
Review 58:Low Wi-Fi in our L-shaped room, but ok if near front window.
Review 59:Clean, within 10 min walk of main street close to many restaurants and shops. Good to have microwave as well as fridge and coffeemaker; grocery store also within walking distance. Staff friendly and helpful about storing our bicycles. Easy access to bike path.
Review 60:Our room was outside of a gathering place to socialize and smoke. When the air-conditioner was on the smoke came into our room. We also could hear all the conversations outside up to 11:00pm. The mattress on bed were uncomfortable but we were only there for one night. We would not return.
Review 61:It was close to downtown.
Review 62:It would have been nice to have a hook on the bathroom door so I wouldn't have had to put my clothes on the floor.
Review 63:The place was spotless and clean. Everything was in excellent condition, new or repaired to perfection. Decorated nicely and very comfortable. Just off the edge of downtown and across the street from a Marina. The staff were great.
Review 64:Although it did'nt have any meal plan (even muffin's to get youstarted before heading out for breakfast) it was close enough toMcDonald's to pick up coffee's for everyone in your party tostart the day.
Review 65:as we were skiing we could have used another "boot tray" for all the extra gear (no we didn't ask) bed was more firm than we generally like
