Hotel Gold is located in a municipal park on the banks of the Vltava river, close to the historical centre of Český Krumlov. It houses a restaurant offering views of the town and a summer outdoor terrace overlooking the river and the park.
The historic 16th-century building of the Hotel Gold features elegantly furnished en-suite rooms, fitted with a TV, a minibar and a telephone. Guests can relax in a sauna, enjoy massages or take a stroll in a garden, or in the town.

Review 1：Receptionists were Great, patient and educated !!! Breakfast was good and complete !!! Hotel was very characteristic and clean !!! Overall great place to stay !! Will be back !!!

Review 2：courtyard facing room very noisy in the morning (due to staff activity), no AC in the room, the mattress on the bed was unbelievably horrible: old, hard, you could feel the springs in your back. Breakfast not sufficient, they do not accommodate dietary requirements as they state on their webpage, there is only one person on duty during breakfast time who can't manage to clean all the tables on time so you have to wait, the food very basic, not enough selection for a 4* hotel. The bath didn't drain properly, built in hairdryer under power. We would not go back

Review 4：A great hotel in a fabulous position...half surrounded by beautiful parkland and the river and only a minute pleasant walk to the beautiful town; nice and quiet.

Review 5：It was hot when we visited, 99F. They only have a few rooms with air conditioning. Ours was not one of those rooms. If it is hot.... Ask for one of those A/c rooms. Also there's no elevator, luggage for second floor was an effort. Wifi only works in lobby or courtyard.

Review 7：Reason I gave the Hotel an ok rating on facilities, was no elevator; however, the young man from the front desk carried my bag upstairs. The breakfast was good, but not excellent. I would defenitely stay at this hotel again.

Review 8：Loved exploring the Town of Cesky Krumlov, felt that the parking provided by the hotel was secure.. Easy acess to the old town, just across the bridge.

Review 9：Weak wifi in the bedroom (ok in the breakfast area, near reception). No electric kettle for making hot drinks on late nights or early mornings during winter.

Review 10：Loved the furniture, fittings, accessories, decor, the bed by the window, the seating (table & chairs) by the window - cozy interior. Less clutter in the bedroom - closet, coat hooks, tall mirror are all in the small room before the bedroom. Clean toilet & bath. Provision of hairdryer. Good breakfast - many choices, and when I informed the staff that the coffee machine went out of water, she immediately attended to it and then informed me that it was ready. Reception staff was very helpful to answer our queries about our stay & getting around town (one during check-in & another at check-out).

Review 11：A little far from the railway station, we walked for 20 minutes from the railway station to the hotel.

Review 14：I came to the hotel by car, and the hotel offers free parking, it was very important for me. The room was very large so large it looked like an apartment. The hotels restaraunt offers tasty good with read once price.

Review 16：The perfect location for a short visit of Cesky Krumlov. It is outside the old city center, but very close to it, on the banks of Vltava river. It has own private parking which is a significant advantage if compared to the hotels within the old city center, for which you need a shuttle from the parking to the hotels.

Review 17：the breakfast was very well done and in a pretty setting. The hotel is right next to the river and a short walk to the first bridge to old town. Parking was a definite plus.

Review 22：This hotel is exceptional: the setting is much nicer than in the old town, yet only a five-minute walk away. It feels like a 5-star deluxe hotel, yet the price is modest. Our room had decorative moulding on the ceiling and a large chandelier, a view across the river. Free parking, varied breakfast, terrace bar to sit in the evening. So posh, and value for money.

Review 29：The room felt a little bit outdated, and not in a cute way. And a problem I have had with many European hotels - they seem to shun shower curtains, resulting in shower water all over the floor!

They respected our sleeping hours and honored my request to make the weekend special for my girlfriend's birthday by giving us a large corner room with a great view of the river and St. Vitus'. The room was large. Receiving your (free) breakfast in your room was only a 50Kr charge, which we utilized both days and were VERY happy with!

Review 31：The hotel is just few meters from the bridge into old town, andwalking along the river was great. The parking at the hotel was goodbonus. Rooms clean, nice breakfast, internet worked but coverage inthe room was limited. The only reason not to stay here is if you donot like stairs.

Review 33：The service at the reception was not very friendly, and one man was very rude to us. We asked to put in laundry and there was no paper to mark preferences, and when we told him that he insisted there was one rather than believing us, and of course wanted to charge us for ironing non-iron travell clothing. There was another guest who brought her dog into the breakfast room and it sat on a chair and barked. For several days of breakfast. When we complained about this we were told "well, they paid to bring a dog" The breakfast food was substandard for a four star hotel and the coffee was bad, like a vending machine. The hotel should ask the city to do something about the homeless people hanging out right by the hotel, which is also right by a school.
