Review 2：Great location for touring wengen, murren and grindelwald. Right beside the murren cable car and the tram station. The hotel is lovely, staff and food are good. The room we had was great with a wonderful view of the valley

Everything about this hotel is wonderful, the food, the service, the atmosphere. I travel internationally for work and this was one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. If you are fortunate enough to visit Lauterbrunnen I recommend you treat yourself to the nicest hotel in town and revel in the whole experience. Review 6：This was my 6th visit to Hotel Silberhorn over the years. It is located in the most beautiful valley in Switzerland. Wonderful breakfast that is included. 2 restaurants on site--I prefer the Rustic room. Easy parking.
Review 7：The back door would not work. We always walked around the hotel to enter the building. The carpet was stained. There was no shower . We walked up four flights of stairs to get there.
Review 8：I loved the view of the mountains, barn and goats from the balcony. A sky light in the beamed ceiling always made the room feel cheery. It was a big room. Nice breakfast and beautiful flowers on the terrace.
Review 9：There was no elevator in the building we stayed, so moving luggage and strollers was a chore. They have the same breakfast everyday. It's a decent breakfast, but if you plan to stay more than a day, you will get the same stuff each day.
Review 10：Location - it's less than half a mile from the Lauterbrunnen station making travelling to nearby locations very easy. Trains to Interlaken run every half hour and the cable car to take you to Schilthorn is just next door! Room was clean and comfortable, with a living room, bedroom, bath and a tiny kitchennette. The view of the mountain and the Lauterbrunnen valley from the room was amazing and it had a wide balcony to sit back, relax and take in all those magnificent vistas. The whole area is incredibly beautiful and I I would definitely recommend staying here if you visiting the valley.

Review 14：Very friendly staff. We lived in the chalet which was large, very well appointed and offered great views of the valley and surrounding mountains. Buffet breakfast was great even for us ovo-lacto-vegetarians. The hotel is walking distance to the train station and coop market. You can hike to Staubbach and Trummelbach falls as well. Parking is free. Good wifi coverage and speed.
Review 15：47 steps and various hallways to get to our room, had mostly a view of parking lot, slanted ceiling in bathroom and my husband had to kneel in tub to try to shower. No tea or coffee in room, super thin towels, and poor bath products.

Review 21：First, This hotel was uphill and if you have luggage you need to drag itup on the slope. No Elevator. We asked the staff to help us, they toldus nobody is available to help until 7. We paid extra $30 to a trainstation so that they can keep our luggage until they show up on 7. no acso it gets hot and if you open windows bugs come in. I booked a queenbed but they joined two full size bed and if u sleep over it, itseparates apart.Second, the room service was worst. They didn'tprovide us soaps, shampoos, and toilet paper. The phone in the room tocall the reception doesn't work. I went to kitchen and ask them towarm my food but they told me to go another hotel across the street andask them to do it for you. Third, The staff charged us $211 extra forthe bed sheet because it had stains and when we refused to pay, thestaff called police and made us pay that amount. The breakfast has smallselection to pick.Overall worst experience ever. Better stay in anotherhotel. This is a waste of money!!
Review 22：The only good thing about this hotel that it was close to Coop and trainstation but the same facilities you get from Hotel Steinbock andit's close to Gondolas for Schilthorn, train station, coop marketand down the hill so no problems to drag the luggage.

Review 26：Location is amazing. Our room (most or all rooms I think) had a balcony with a view of the lovely valley and the Alps. The hotel is older, charming and immaculate. Hotel is nearly next door to the lift into the Alps and across the street from the train station. They serve a very nice breakfast buffet which is included. They also have a restaurant which was so delicious we ate there both nights. Once we got used to prices in Switzerland, we found this hotel to be an excellent value.
Review 27：The rooms are a bit outdated (especially when you see pictures of the newly remodeled modern annex). The furniture on the balcony also was a bit shabby. The breakfast was minimal and unchanging (but tasty). Lastly the shampoo/bodywash packets were a bit cheap given the price of the stay.

Exhausted by the time we got to the room in 3rd floor. Cannot imagine how anyone with mobility issues could manage. Review 68：Because of the lateness of my arrival, the greeting was a little perfunctory. Also, the evening before, I had gone to the hotel restaurant with my daughters. The food is supposed to be very good, but we didn't try it. It was expensive and the inside restaurant was like a sauna! We asked for a table on the terrace at the side of the hotel, which we were given, but it had very little or no awning (It was rainy weather). I felt the staff were not as attentive as they might have been.
