Reviews for Wya Point Resort

Review 1:This is a wonderful location overlooking the ocean that is steps away. The cabin was warm and cozy (a November visit) with its in floor heat. But best of all the staff are great and they made a pointing of checking in with us each morning.

Review 2:The water is brackish and there are warnings not to drink it in anyway including brushing your teeth in it. Drinking water is provided.

Review 3:the location of the Cabin on a small private beach, the design of the cabin, the comfort of it all

Review 4:That we didn't stay longer.

Review 5:The property was secluded and felt like a private retreat. The accommodations were immaculate; very well appointed with supplies and amenities; and the views of the ocean were breathtaking. Check-in and telephone reservations staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

Review 6:I loved their private beach, where I saw the eagles' nest and the pair of eagles every day. I saw the lonesome seagull, a pair of loons and a Heron every morning and throughout the day, right from my cabin, that had floor to ceiling windows. I spent most of the days on the beach and I was inspired to paint, and write. After a 4 night stay, I still didn't want to leave, I would live there in a heartbeat!

Review 7:The fact they are on well water and the water is brown kinda weirded me out and is not supposed to be drank

Review 8:Location is beautiful. The lodges are amazing. Very clean and comfy

Review 9:1) Check-in after 5 PM could be trouble for first time visitors. the check-in office will be closed after 5 PM. It's better to point out what to do for late checking-in visitors. 2)The water inside the cabin is not clean with yellowish color which even not feel comfortable for showering.

Review 10:The location is peaceful with wonderful see view !

Review 11:Loved everything. The sound of the ocean, the smell of cedar cabin, singing frogs and a secluded beach - is there anything else one could wish for? Oh, and those little chocolates are to die for!

Review 12:This is simply a wonderful place to stay. The only improvement would be the addition of a hair dryer to the ensuite bathroom. That said, I'll gladly bring my hairdryer to stay here again! hehe. :)

Review 13:The view was simply spectacular from the cabin on either floor and from the balcony. We had amazing sunsets and even saw whales going by as we sat all cozy in front of the big picture window. There is easy beach access from the cabin to the small, sheltered Ucluth beach. Being so close to the shoreline provided the added treat of going to sleep to the sound of the waves. We loved being able to have our two little dogs with us as well. The cement floors in the chalet made it easy to sweep up when needed. This is a unique and special place to stay. We will definitely go back again.

Review 14:NOT meant to indicate a bad experience, but we found the kitchen utensils a bit worse for wear this time (e.g., spatula) and perhaps a teflon-coated pot would be nice. Microwave would be a treat but understand the power issue. Minor problems that we remedied for ourselves in Ucuelet; I mention them only for information.

Review 15:The cabins are a joy, beautifully constructed an maintained. It is quiet, surprisingly so even with neighbours close. One doesn't see the staff much, but when they come around, they are not only friendly, but happy. We've come back and will come back again. THANK YOU!

Review 16:Cabins are spaced a little close together and it can feel like there is a slight lack of privacy. Perhaps having some window covers would be nice.

Review 17:Beautiful view and cabin. Warm, cozy, and quiet.

Review 18:Can't think of anything I didn't like

Review 19:Cabin was right off the beach. It was in a very quiet and natural setting. The staff were very helpful and interested in making our stay great

Review 20:Beautiful location - extra special to see the blow hole in action. Super comfortable for the dog and the people staying there. A very quiet and restful visit.

Review 21:This was a bizarre trip. We did not know that the key had to be picked up at a location other than the accomodation, nor that the lodge would be so remote, unmarked and unlit. We had to travel all the way back into town to get the key only to arrive at the location - by way of a sketchy narrow dirt road - to find that the key did not work in any of the locks. None of the lodges were rented and there was no one anywhere. We had to return to town, give the key back and find another place to stay.

Review 22:Lighting in the bed rooms

Review 23:Best location and the privacy of the place

Review 38:Location

Review 39:Amazing totem pole in the cedar cabin!!

Review 40:peace and quiet, no crowds, private beach, unspoilt. The cabin was first class.

Review 41:long gravel road to get in but still worth it.

Review 42:The lodge we were in was modern and well appointed, loved the fireplace as it was chilly.

Review 43:Very relaxing, private and comfortable. Enjoyed the outdoors and water views. Very clean.

Review 44:Everything

Review 45:Great bed and other facilities. Fire lovely and the good wifi was a bonus given it's relative isolation.

Review 47:Loved the totem poles
