Review 1：We were missing the fireplace to cozy up with, and a bath big enough for two. But the view and location made up for it!
Review 2：The view and sunset were incredible. The location was awesome. So close to Tofino, the path along the road (awesome for a morning jog), shopping, the brewery, and Long Beach. The staff were lovely, and the rooms had pretty much everything you needed for a cozy stay. Including games! :)
Review 3：No repeat loyalty program. picnic benched for kitchen table have no back or padding so after a few days setting on it is not comfortable. Asked at check in not to have the room serviced for the 4 days we were staying but everyday found that someone had been in the room

Review 8：So many things. The shape of the cottages lets you hear the rain drops from everywhere: very relaxing. So is the proximity to the ocean. The pool and jaccuzi are a nice addition and are nice and close. Furnishings are comfy and cottage was nice and warm. Views are fantastic!

Review 25：Tofino and it's beaches are beautiful as is and Ocean Village allows us to get close to it all. The staff is friendly and relaxed. The facilities are well kept and adorable. We're also really pleased with the dog policy. It's nice to find a place so open to having pets.
Review 26：loved the pool, closeness to the ocean and beautifully kept facility (inside and out) Fires on the beach, freedom for dogs, and beautiful scenery. Amazing. No breaks stinks but wild side grill (20 minute walk) had amazing breakfast lunch and dinner.
Review 27：Although most of anything you need for a self sufficient stay was already in the room. An outdoor fire pit or even a community fire pit would be an amazing option.
Review 28：Loved the location. Our door opened to the beautiful beach. The crashing surf was wicked awesome to listen to all night. The gas fireplace was nice.

Review 35：The cabins are plain, but spotless and fully equipped. Just a few feet through a hole in the hedge and you are on a stunning white sand beach. The beach itself was also free of garbage. Also a short drive in to Tofino. We will definately return!

Review 43：Was there to relax and to concentrate on reading and developing class content. We stayed in a lower studio. The people upstairs could be heard walking and talking. They were play fighting for a bit so that was distracting. It was quiet after 11pmish. There was a fellow outside with a leaf blower that was extremely distracting for a couple of hours in the morning. The bed was uncomfortably firm so I spent a great deal of the 3 nights tossing and turning.. that in addition to the outside light from the cabin next door shining directly in the bedroom window. The Venetian style blinds did little to keep the light out and as there was no other cover the room was lit up all night. It wouldn't take much change to make b the stay much more enjoyable. Also wasnt thrilled to pay a $35 cancelation fee even though I had rescheduled a reservation.

Review 46：Great place to relax and unwind. Immaculate grounds. Stunning beach. Bring some slippers cause floors on lower floors are cold of you can. Check temp Of hot tub before you commit. Would definitely go back. Would have given it 100% but when we checked in - person was having a bad day - not rude - just did not feel overly welcomed as per usual on Vancouver Island! Will definitely come back! Fellow at checkout very friendly.

Review 48：Warm welcome by the check in staff when we arrived before check in and the suite was ready early. Ocean view from upper suite, which had a little kitchen area and table by the window. There's also a balcony with table and chairs, but as the sun came out we spent most of our time on the beach. Staff were quick to check the on-demand hot water heater, and checked back with us twice during our stay to ensure it was working.
Review 49：More kitchen stuff will be welcomed, such as baking tray, kitchen paper and cooking knife. And the wifi, up and down almost for whole stay, but anyway, we were vacation there, it would be fine.

When we arrived the misleading information was discovered and we were forced to pay nearly double our anticipated cost to get a suitable room. My bad for not noticing on the e-mail, but Booking.com's bad for the bait and switch.

Review 57：We did arrive during the week when it was very quiet. Not surprisingly, the weekend brought more people and in some cases, a lot more noise in the evening. That said, it didn't continue too late into the night.
Review 58：The tranquility, peace and beauty hit us on arrival....so much so we decided to stay longer. It was lovely to be so close to Mackenzie Beach and although there was other accommodation along the same beach, you were not aware of it from Ocean Village - it seemed so secluded.

Review 65：The whole experience at Ocean Village was excellent. The cove beach and cabins were the perfect setting for us to take a stroll, relax and watch the sunset after busy days sight seeing. The staff and facilities were consistently of a high standard & the photos we took are recommendation enough to our friends and family. We will be back, thank you!
Review 66：We stayed in the top suite of a cabin. We loved the high ceilings and open layout. It was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The view of the ocean was breathtaking. We used the sand toys provided in the office and spent hours on the beach. It was also nice to have a grill to use out on the lawn. We loved using the pool and hot tub. It was a great way to warm up and end the day. We also liked that it was close enough to walk into the town of Tofino. We will definitely return!
Review 67：No tv in the room, poor Wi-Fi, asking their guest to do dishes before they check out - unacceptable when you pay almost $200 a night. Also you can not trust other people with washing dishes you will be using after.

Review 70：Absolutely loved our stay at Ocean Village! The bee hives are so cute and comfortable! And what to say about the view!!!! Absolutely breath taking! You are right on Mackenzie beach and 5 minutes away from North chesterman beach! In the cabines, you have everything you need if you want to cook yourself a meal and not to far from the village (About 15 min by bike or 5 min by car)if you want to go for groceries or eat out. You are also 2 min away by foot to the Tofino Groceries where you can get some supplies. You absolutely have to go to Tacofino and try their amazing tacos! The Ocean village employees are so nice. The pool and spa are very clean just like the rest of Ocean Village. We stayed for 6 days and it was like being in Paradise. We absolutely loved it! To bad it's so far from Montreal because I would go there every summer!
