Hotel Trattlerhof enjoys a scenic location on the edge of the forest, close to the centre of Bad Kleinkirchheim. Many hiking and biking trails pass by the hotel, and in winter the hotel is only 450 feet from the lifts to the Bad Kleinkirchheim and St. Oswald Ski Areas. It offers a restaurant and an indoor pool.
The rooms of the Trattlerhof are furnished in traditional Austrian style. Some feature a balcony offering panoramic mountain views.
Spa facilities include an indoor pool, 2 saunas, a hot tub, and a steam bath.
The Trattlerhof's restaurant serves traditional cuisine as well as creative specialities made of only the freshest local produce, and also offers a wide choice of wines. Wine tasting is held once a week. There is also Après ski bar in winter.
The Trattlerhof also offers reduced green fees for golfers. The hotel offers various adventures. Children can make pizza in a special cooking class or play on a pony farm. E-Cars can be test-driven there.
From mid-April to late October, the Kärnten Card is included in the rate. This card offers many free benefits and discounts all across Carinthia.
From 9 January to 05 March 2016, a 6-day ski pass for a child up to 12 years old is available directly at the hotel for EUR 1 a day, if at least one accompanying adult buys a 6-day ski pass for the Bad Kleinkirchheim-St. Oswald Ski Area.
From 06 March to 28 April 2016, a ski pass and a 50% discount on the admission to the thermal spas in the region is included in the rate.

Review 1：I'd like to thank the owners of the hotel for a happy opportunity to stay in the atmosphere and style of the old aristocratic Austrian house. I enjoyed the warm hospitality of your family and the staff and appreciated the high efficiency of everyone. Hope to come and stay at your wonderful hotel again.

Review 2：The hotel room we got was very much old fashioned, had a strange smell in it and no shampoo and body lotion in the bathroom.

Review 3：Very friendly staff and owner, nice and clean hotel and very delicious breakfast with lots of varieties. We enjoyed the horse riding class at the training site of the hotel as well as in the field outside.

Review 4：Our room, although spacious was at the top of the stairs very noisy from people running and jumping on the stairs. Noticed a cigarette packet under the bed on our last day from previous occupants. Wifi is very unreliable.

Review 24：The hotel is an ideal place for winter holiday. The ski bus stop is right in front of the hotel and one chair lift station is within walking distance. Rooms are spacious, very comfortable and practically furnished. A rich buffet breakfast and served five-course dinner is an exceptional culinary experience. Beautiful wellness area with a swimming pool and saunas allows pleasant relaxation after a day of skiing. The pleasant ambience of the hotel is completed by very friendly and highly professional staff. Staying in the hotel surpassed our expectations and was worth it.

Review 29：The location was fabulous , straight out onto the hiking, cycling trails. The horse lesson was great. The hands on approach of the family was credible , the staff all wear traditional dress which is a lovely touch . The rooms were comfortable and all had amazing views. The e bikes are available to rent but a little expensive.

Review 31：The hotel is ideally situated: easily accessible from the road, but behind the hotel there is a hiking trail, a brook, forest... The hotel's best feature is the large lawn behind it where you can sunbathe after the swim in the indoor pool (with lovely view of the forest). There you can also have your breakfast, with the view of the brook and the romantic little bridge with an arch of roses. The most impressive thing about this hotel is the hands-on approach by the family and management who run it. they pay exceptional attention to every detail (lighting the fire on the lawn in the evening for atmosphere and candles throughout the hotel, decorating every nook and cranny) and make every guest feel very welcome. we were there with an 11 month old baby and they went out of their way to make him comfortable (bringing him plastic cutlery for breakfast etc.) I believe that it is precisely this personal touch that makes this hotel special.

Review 32：Standard double room is quite small. We were with friends, their roomtelephone and tv remote control were not working, they requestedsomebody to repair but it did not happen till the end of our stay

Review 33：The hotel is situated very conveniently to the ski slopes, it offers alot of activities in and out of the hotel, good quality food, weeklynewsletter, nice spa area. We are very satisfied with our stay.

Review 34：This is the second time i have stayed at the tratterhof and both times it's been very good. Jacobe the owner goes out of his way to make sure everything is ok for you, making you feel at home straight away. The hotel is in a fantastic location next to the mountains with a river running along side it's south facing back gardens. The hotel has a restaurant up near the ski lift and if you don't want to eat in the hotel you can eat at the mountain restaurant for free insteed, which was nice. We and another couple were on motorcycles and were able to park them right outside the entrance which ment they were watched 24 /7. This is a very good hotel and i would recommend it to anyone who appreciates what austria is all about!

Review 38：This is a very special place. The location is perfect – right next to the ski lifts. The spa area is exactly what you want after a day in the mountain air. We really liked the character of the hotel and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming; in addition, the food is a real treat. We were here for a ski weekend this time; we will certainly be back - any time of year would be good: we would love to see what it’s like here in the summer!

Review 39：English communication is not good and causes misunderstandings. Only the owners speaks good english. Guiding is terrible. Not good for first time visitors. Very Old style Hotel. Not in walking distance with Romerbad.
