Review 1：This is an old house that has been turned into a hotel. It is a large Bed and Breakfast with lovely views. But, it is not a modern hotel with modern facilities. No elevators, no modern showers, few bathtubs, inconsistent heat in the showers etc.

Review 2：The owners are very nice, they went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. All rooms are immaculately clean. The breakfast is fresh and good. Best facial I have had in years! Schedule on, it is worth every Euro!

Review 4：We felt very welcome and got good advise were to eat and what to do. Breakfast was the best we ever had for a continental Breakfast. All sorts of fresh fruits, cheeses, cereals and even fish, good coffee too. We defenety would go there again.

Review 11：It's an older hotel, so you can sometimes hear your neighbours. The pillows were a bit uncomfortable.

Review 12：Beautiful area, great views and relaxing. Perfect if you just want to chill out for a few days or a week away from the chaos of the city. You can hire bikes and see some amazing things. Staff were excellent, very helpful and welcoming.

Review 13：The mattresses of the beds were too thin which resulted in a lack of sleep comfort. The bathroom was very tiny and the lady owner made a sarcastic comment about "not being able to see the inside of the Tissue Box", because the Kleenex box was just about empty with only three tissues in it.

Review 37：Room with a view of the meadows and mountains. Good breakfast overlooking the mountains. Close to the elegant shops and restaurants in Badenweiler and the spa. Heidi at the reception was very welcoming and helpful.

Review 46：This family run hotel offers great value for money, our room was spacious (2 rooms, 1 of which had a small kitchenette plus bathroom and large balcony) and clean with plenty of windows capturing lots of light as well as the cool breezes that gently sweep through Badenweiler. The breakfast is generous (cereal, yoghurt, fruit, meat, cheese, breads, juice, etc.) and extra coffee or hot chocolate is readily available. We find Hotel Neuenfels a great place for stopping over during our long summer trip. It would also be ideal for visiting the attractions of the area (baths, wine, points of interest, etc.)

The owners were very helpful and organized and even hadEnglish brochures ready for us when we checked in. Breakfast was verynice each morning and the view in the dining room was amazing. Wecould walk everywhere in town and even took advantage of the freetrain ride to Basel, Switzerland for a day trip. We are alreadyplanning our trip back this summer because we had such a wonderfultrip and loved the Hotel.
