Review 2：Don't be put off by the outside, the rooms are large, bright & comfortable, with nice linen & great pillows. They provide real cups & wine glasses in the rooms & at breakfast; ice, corkscrew, snacks are all available & there is a nice pool & place to sit looking at the countryside at the back. We had a room facing that way rather than roadside which I would recommend. V good value

Review 3：My husband and I pretty well liked everything. But I would probably upgrade the propane fridge to a more efficient one.

Review 4：The pool was surprisingly large for a motel of this size; it was very clean and had lots of lounge chairs around it. Several families enjoyed using the BBQ. The tap water here is from a well and gets tested twice yearly. The tap water tasted excellent and was very cold! Having a kitchenette was very nice.

Review 11：We thought this was a great spot. It is an older place but very clean and neat. The outside was beautiful with sitting areas and a very nice pool. Would also be a good spot if you have children with you. Two minutes away from downtown.

Review 12：The bathmat slipped out from under my husband's feet when he had to get up in the night. It dumped him on the bath tub. We took him to the Magog Hospital Emergency the next morning and he had two cracked ribs. It would be very helpful for older people if your bathmats had a rubber backing.

Review 39：No windows. The only way to get fresh air into the room was to run the window air conditioner or fan, which is noisy. The shower head did not spray nor adjust properly. We ran out of hot water in the shower.

Review 43：I paid for a kitchenette for two nights and there was not one decent knife to cut vegetables in the kitchen. The one knife there had a blade about an inch & a half long and it was bent and flimsy. Then when I showed it to the clerk, she made quite a fuss about getting me a better knife. We wanted to make a spagetti, that's all. Shouldn't have been a big deal to supply a kitchenette properly. I asked for a teapot: "No, don't have one". Very poor.

Review 45：Clean, comfortable, although very simple and older design. We took a room with a kitchenette. It is small, but has everything you need for cooking, plus seating for four people.

Review 46：The room and kitchen are small. Most of the luggages can only be put onethe ground. It is very difficult to move in the room after we put ourluggages on the ground. Only two pots are provided, where one of them issuper small. We can only find one knife for preparing cooking materials.We spent $10 to add one more person in that room but they didn'tprovide additional kitchenware.

Review 54：My sister and I stayed 5 nights and found Motel de la Pente Douce to be an excellent value. The double room was equipped with a fridge, a coffee maker and even wine glasses. The location made it very easy both to visit Magog and hike on Mount Orford. We loved the mountain view, as well as the heated outdoor pool and the large grassy open space around it, with picnic tables, an open fire place and a barbecue. The motel is located on a busy road, but there was no traffic at all during the night, so it was very quiet. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. For example, the WIFI did not work very well in our room, but the owner let us use the dinning room in the evening, where the WIFI worked perfectly.We were also very satisfied with the breakfast included in the price. Highly recommended.

Review 63：The "petit dejeuner" (breakfast) that was included in the very reasonable price could have included simple choices that would have made it a little more appealing, like local baked bread rather than packaged breads from the supermarket. The vertical blinds on the window let in a little too much light, but not crucial.
