Traditionally styled, each unit at Beach Resort Pacific Sands features a stone fireplace and a flat-screen cable TV. All provide a private patio or deck and a dining area. They are decorated in natural tones and have floor-to-ceiling windows.
Cougar Annie’s Garden, situated on 5 acres, is 2.5 miles from the resort. Wilderness tours and whale watching can be arranged near the resort. Umbrellas and raincoats are available during storm watching season.

Also I wiped up something on the kitchen floor an it was not very clean. Front desk mantel (counter edge)worn and in need of refinishing. This is the first impression and very important.

Review 98：A little on the pricy side. We found that the walls are made of paper... We could hear the people above us "getting it on", and while my fiancé and I were playing a simple, fairly quiet board game our second night there, someone who works there knocked on our door to say that someone had complained about us having a "party". It was weird that they didn't have a phone in the room, especially since there was little cell phone reception. Also the alarm clock woke us up in the middle of the night, and we had not set it. They have an awesome dvd collection, which is great, but ppv would have been nice. We also did not like that because we weren't in a private hot tub suite there was no where in Tofino where we could go for a dip or relax in a hot tub. It would have been nice for the hotel to leave even ONE hot tub open to the other guests... Regardless of all these small annoying things that happened to us, the staff was friendly (though when we tried to call from our cell phone once because we wante dto ask for something we got the voicemail), the view was amazing, and it was sooooooooo cozy and comfortable. We would DEFINITELY still stay again.

We loved the candles in the room, the fireplace, the deck, the rain coats and the large board game and movie selection at the reception. The hotel is right on the beach which made it all that better. Sooooooo beautiful!!

Review 100：For what we paid we were expecting a lot more. We had one bad experience with a certain staff member. Also not a major issue, but the internet service they offer is terrible, but they give you an option to pay more money for a decent internet feed. This irked us as we were already paying so much for the room.

Review 102：the location of this hotel makes it a dream. Right out of our room we could see the beach only about 50 steps from our balcony. A surfers paradise. The beach is well used by others which as a new surfer gives me comfort. the boardwalk close by gives you multiple areas for sunset watching every night. this resort is fairly basic (no pools or hot tubs etc) however, we could have stayed there another week for sure. Highly recommend this hotel.

Review 111：I had stayed at Pacific Sands in 1995 and it has changed somewhat since then. Nevertheless, the hotel has a great location, right on a beautiful beach. Rooms are clean, if a little cramped in the studio apartment. However, if you're in Tofino, you're generally out exploring anyway.

Review 113：We were celebrating our 25th Wedding anniv. in our middle 70's. This was a bit more expensive than our fixed pensions would normally allow, but it was special. Unfortunately, my wife fell ill and was "down for the count" on the Sun. and Mon. of our stay. These were the days we had planned special meals in Tofino. Never happend. However your facilities are wonderful and the setting spectacular. Will try to save our money for a repeat in a year or two.
