Review 1：Perfect place for my husband and I while we were touring my brother and his wife around BC. Staff were very helpful, great recommendation for dinner in town our first night when we arrived in late. Place was clean, beds comfy, loved the balcony overlooking the beautiful lake. Will definitely go back again in the fall b/c not too busy. Sorry we forgot to move out some food items from the cupboards when we left and promise to check more closely next visit :) Thank you

Review 2：Motel 8's are better furnished than this motel. Walls were thin, had to unplug the refrigerator - made too much noise - postage-stamp size bathroom and tub so old, it looked scummy.

Review 4：We could spend hours sitting on the deck overlooking the lake. Nice BBQ waiting there too. Lovely for a swim too although a little shallow. Nice lakeside walking is steps away. This property is a nice alternative to a hotel.

Review 5：Noisy because it's right on the highway, and because you're sleeping in a room with a full-sized fridge :-) My room also had a glass patio door as the entrance, which means less sound-proofing. The rooms overlooking the lake may have been quieter.

Review 6：It was very clean, reasonably priced, and the full sized fridge was useful. I was there off-season so I didn't use their beach, BBQ, etc. Wi-fi worked fine for email, but I didn't test it out for more than that.

Review 7：Shower head was broken. Low water pressure - difficult to have shower. Coffee machine wires at plug in was burned. I found out when I could smell burning plastic.

Review 16：For the money this motel gives excellent value. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff were particularly helpful. The situation although on the main road was not too noisy. The acces to the beach was excellent. The patio with the barbecues was a great bonus. We ate out every evening. We really enjoyed our stay.

Review 20：I like everything! They supply you with towels, chairs, beach toys and loungers for the beach which is right in there backyard. Along with barbecues, tables and chairs.

Review 21：Sliding door entry only had blackout drapes so either open to all who walk by or closed & no natural light. Could use a sheer curtain let more light in but still give a little privacy. Also a little outdated but who cares...not looking for luxury, just a clean place for a good value for a town that has gotten astronomically expensive for even the grungiest motels!

Property was right on the lake and the beach was well maintained by the owners. Beach chairs & loungers and floaties for the kids provided too! Last but not least, staff was super nice & the owners were fantastic!

Review 37：Iv been going to this motel for a longtime now whenever I take a trip to Osoyoos and I knew it before it was all renovated into the Desert Surfside Inn and it was just called the Surfside. Its always been a well manged motel, friendly, and very welcoming. I think its one of the best places you could stay in Osoyoos and room prices are reasonable and the beach is very nice. And I hope whoever maybe reading this, that this review helps them out.

Review 59：It is overpriced for what it is. Very basic motel. Our room didn't have an equal amount of anything. There was nothing to wash the dishes with. The table was dirty. We had to track down the staff to get a receipt upon checkout.
