Review 1：Hotel furnishings and bathrooms old and dated. Needs investment. Internet slow.

Review 2：Friendly staff. Good location opposite ski lift. Our room had lovely view of the Sion Valley, ask for valley view. Hotel opposite,the Magrappe has good food and atmosphere.

Review 3：You really can't get any closer to the ski lifts! But for us the best part of our stay is the extremely friendly and accommodating staff. They have a great kitchen too - from breakfast right to dinner. Their chef prepared an awesome 7-course meal for our New Year's dinner. Thank you for the wonderful experience, Hotel Royal Chalet. You're getting a 5-star rating from us.

Review 4：Breakfast not to the usual "Swiss" standard (no fresh juice, hot chocolate and coffee from a machine, i.e. chocolate with water - you can order hot milk though). Internet connection unstable, especially at "peak hours". Good when less people around.

Review 5：Environment friendly bathroom management (lots of people may dislike the fact there is only one soap in the bathroom and soap dispensers ... other stuffs are upon request). Helpful and friendly staff. It was appreciated they offered me the possibility to take a shower before I drove home in the evening in their spa facility before it is "officially" opened for guests.

Review 10：I expected more offers for wellness in a Hotel of this rating. Thy only have a outdoors sauna and a whirlpool and they charge even 15 Francs for the usage - ridiculous

Review 11：Lift to the garage and ski lift took too long, too many non residents using it. Rooms needed a good thorough cleaning (skirting boards, corners etc) Bathrooms need modernising Ran out of hot water during peak evening times. Restaurant menu nice to view but food was actually quite disappointing Shame we could not get easily from the car park to our room with our luggage (had to cross reception and use small internal lift)

Review 13：This is not really a complaint, but a suggestion. I came with a 3-pin feeder (Irish) for my mobile and there was no way I could use it in the hotel. Swiss system is different from anywhere else - there are 3 thin pins. One can use it with a continental-type 2-pin feeder which I did not have. Impossible to get an adapter in the hotel, or in the village of Veysonnaz. My daughter had a continental-type feeder so I was OK, but it may be a problem for some British or Irish visitors. An international EC adapter or a cable to feed a mobile made available for guests would be a good idea, I think.

Review 14：The location was fantastic - very close to the ski slopes but across the road from it, so less noise. Staff could not be more helpful, with info, giving directions, being hospitable after I checked out and still waited for the bus to take me to the station (I tried to use my skiing time to the maximum, so I skied till the last minute before departure). Wellness with great outdoor Jacuzzi. Excellent breakfast to get you able to face the day of skiing. In fact, everything.

Review 15：Service by dining and bar staff was disappointing and in particular the dinner service was very slow.

Review 16：We sat in the lounge area every night playing card games. This is a lovely large area where people could socialise. It was very nicely furnished and although large it felt cosy.
