Reviews for Jamie's Rainforest Inn

Review 1:We had room 101 which is by a door outside and the stairwell, there was a lot of noise at 4 am on new years and around 11 the night before. Would request to not have a corner room next time !

Review 2:The room was comfortable and big, desk staff so helpful and accommodating. Pet friendly with a patio door and close to Chesterman beach. They hosted a great new years event.

Review 3:5 min wait at unoccupied front desk upon arrival, cracked sink in bathroon, stains on chairs, poor sound proofing esp. in ceiling.

Review 4:Location, parking, some amenities, convenience of a restaurant, clean comfortable beds, trails behind the Inn, pet friendly

Review 8:too remote restaurant not to recommend kitchentte useless mosquitos in the room wifi not working employees trying to hard sell on other stuff the company offers like whale watching etc.

Review 9:nothing special about this place, better to choose one at the shoreline next time

Review 10:No bad experience - just an uncomfortable bed, too hard for me.

Review 11:Good location, rooms excellent, very friendly and competent staff. A short walk to Chesterman's Beach, the prettiest beach of all. Lots of parking. Nice to walk the short trail out to the mudflats behind the facilities. And close enough to Tofino to be very convenient.

Review 12:Hallway carpets were very dirty and bathroom floor was not cleaned properly. Entertainment (Led Zeppelin) was terrible. We were told it was wonderful.

Review 13:Cleaning and restaurant staff were really friendly.

Review 14:Wifi service poor...bed was uncomfortable. When we asked for bottled water, Front desk said it didn't in their vending machine and suggested we walk to the store.

Review 15:The Location close to town and fabulous restaurant with reasonable prices, great west coast cuisine choices, over the top server.. and live music...loved the mussels and halibut. Gave us excellent water to take to room.

Review 16:We were given a great room location and the bed was comfy and the jetted tub a nice surprise. The restaurant is handy and the food was good. Great hospitality and location here at a reasonable price.

Review 17:No maid service despite putting sign on door Little assistance during power outage

Review 39:Location an Staff

Review 40:Nothing

Review 41:Nice people and bigsize room

Review 42:It was very comfortable, quiet and well situated. Staff were friendly and very helpful in planning our visit. The trails in the back were delightful and provided a varying vista at different times of the day.

Review 43:Music in the restaurant needs to be better regulated. People generally don't want to eat while listening to driving rock and roll. It did not promote an atmosphere conducive to peaceful dining. The caesar salad was not up to standard - and at $8 for a half portion, overpriced. My egg breakfast for $13 was so-so -- they skimped on the potatoes and the ham slice was about 1/16 " thin.

Review 44:Restaurant dinner entrees and desserts were quite good. Rooms were adequate. Had a quiet area designated for reading and/or study (with desks) well away from the lobby at the end of a hallway.

Review 45:Room never being vacuum cleaned. Garbage on the floor from previous guests still until my very last day. Checkout problem - have waited for more than 30 min just to find the receptionist.

Review 46:Very good location. Very quiet.

Review 47:No restaurant open at the time we were there. They were renovating at the time.

Review 48:Room was very clean. Bed was extremely comfortable and the bath tub was just right.

Review 50:I loved the friendly helpful staff. All the people who work for the Inn are down to earth people like me.

Review 51:No complaints whatsoever

Review 52:The setting and the attempt to provide little touches like a bright reading area off the lobby and free WiFi that actually works.

Review 53:The 2 bed room we booked was apparently not listed properly on booking.com and it was a one bed room.

Review 54:I loved the trails through the rainforest behind the hotel.

Review 55:The place is not a beachfront.

Review 56:We enjoyed our 3 nights. It is spacious and the beds were comfortable and it sure is a budget friendly. The staffs were very helpful. We will definitely recommend this place to our friends.

Review 57:A restaurant was advertised in the web site and also on the sign. We would have used the restaurant because it was pouring rain and we did not want to drive. We know it is being renovated but it should not be advertised yet

Review 58:No complaints. Cheaper than most in the area.

Review 59:Some of the furnishings are a little worn and frayed, though everything is very clean.

Review 60:The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. My room ( a deluxe king) was beautiful and spacious, with views into the forest. After a hard day of surf lessons, I had a wonderful sleep on the very firm bed.

Review 61:It is advertised as having a restaurant and does not. They are a five minute drive from town. That could be a problem for some who don't expect to have to drive to town to eat.
