Review 1：The staff was mostly stressed and unfriendly; the hotel needs more employees during such busy times as New Years. Lots of old people in the hotel. It's old fashioned .............

Review 2：I liked Badenweiler. Breakfast was good.

Review 3：Too hot in the rooms. Bad quality bedding, too soft matress made it difficult to have a proper rest for every one. Extra bed not straight, had a deeper side towards the head. Lack of personnel at night to fix the issues.

Review 7：Fantastic hotel in a beautiful small town. Great friendly staff, super rooms (the view from our balcony was fantastic) and good food. This was a one-night stop for us travelling back to The Netherlands from Italy and we will definitely consider it for next year's stopover also. Highly recommended.

Review 10：Coffee was served first morning with a small jug of milk on the tray. But on the second morning I had to get it myself from a jug on the table. On the third morning it came on the tray again! Not consistant and confusing - not good.

Review 13：This was a great stop over in a beautiful quad room. We made use of all the spa facilites and enjoyed an excellent breakfast! Very reasonably priced and when we arrived we chanced upon a music and wine festival in the traditional town centre - would highly reccomed.

Review 18：The hotel is old and appears very used, if not abused. All the furniture is chipped and the bed was very uncomfortable and too short. The bath tub was nasty, and the mirror was about to go blind.The carpets are worn, and the dining room has the charm of a Russian living room from the 80s.It also took a superior sense of direction to find the dining room, as the hotel is built on two different levels and the outlay of the place was clearly designed to make people disappear.It also helps if you like old, tiny and shaky elevators. We had to use two, just to make it to the front desk.Also do not expect running water at all times. The entire hotel was "dry" on the morning of our departure.This meant we weren't able to shower, wash or brush teeth.When I called the front desk to find out what was wrong and how long it would take to fix this problem I was told that I would have to wait and see. No sorry, no bottled water.Hence we decided to finish packing. After that was done, the water situation had not changed.So I killed some time by sitting on the mossy balcony to enjoy the view into the kitchen, which was only mildly obscured by the weeds growing in the flower pots. Interestingly, the kitchen had water, although the lady at front desk had told me that the entire building was without.As there was still no water, we went for breakfast. When I asked at the reception when the situation would change, I was told that I could use the bath room in an employee's appartment.Naturally I declined.The breakfast was rather average. But the bacon must have been great, as I never managed to get any.After putting our bags into the car I wanted to check out. And this is where things got really interesting.The same Lady, whom I remembered fondly, from the previous day was in charge again.

I needed to see a doctorfor a soar throat and I was able to get the name and directions to acompetent doctor in town.

Review 52：Excellent, clean & friendly hotel - on arrival the receptionist showed me to my room which was described as a single but had a king size bed and plently of room. Got room service breakfast and asked for selection and got enough to feed 2 or 3 people. Spa/Sauna was great and not busy at all. All Staff were more than helpful. Nice village with large spa for all the family. Stayed one extra night and got the same deal as i booked without asking.
