Review 1：Would have liked a microwave in the kitchen.

Review 2：Very clean. I like that I have a kitchen I can cook meals in if I was going to stay more than 1 night. Staff was great. This is the second time I have stayed at a college residence and would recommend them over a hotel. I also like the separate bedroom with each having a television. Great Value

Review 7：The kitchen appliances were very nice but there were NO pots, pans or dishes! I was planning to prepare our dinner at the site (to save $$) and was disappointed to discover this drawback.

Review 8：The outstandingly helpful & friendly staff at the check-in desk were kind enough to locate a pot, skillet and a few dishes (not provided) to help us prepare some dinner in the suite. The continental breakfast was quite good and the room was spotless with an amazingly comfy bed. All this was available for a reasonable price.

Review 9：The kitchens have no cutlery,pots & pans or dishes, so you really can't self cater. The breakfast room was missing spoons and cream cheese for the bagels. Very limited options. Were unable to handle a large group arriving at once as there seemed to be no meal attendant.

Review 114：The front desk was not very energetic because one of our TV remote was missing a back and it did not work he did not offer a solution. So we just used one TV. The rooms were sparse a night table would be really nice I used a chair instead.

In fact it was on too high when we arrived. I loved the closet set up very good idea. The breakfast was great also. For the price I would not of expected a breakfast.

Review 116：Seemed high priced for the accommodations. I am satisfied with basic, but would appreciate a substantial reduction in price compared to regular motels. I could have gotten a very nice motel room for slightly more than I paid for the room we got at Canadore College. I thought the rate I saw on the internet was ~ $50.00.

So we went to McDonald's instead.

Review 127：The floors in the rooms I saw were filthy dirty and the couches werecovered in crumbs. Canadore has a nerve to charge what they do for thiskind of accommodation. I called the manager, Laura, later that day andshe promised to get back to me. Despite another call she has notresponded. Beware of this accommodation...bring your own cleaningsupplies as well as dishes and utensils for the kitchen.

Review 128：I chose Canadore for it's location within walking distance of thehospital where my mother is staying as I arrived without a car. Thefirst room I was given smelled terrible and the floors had not beenmopped in probably weeks. The desk clerk was very apologetic and sent meto another room. In this room all four beds were unmade...looked as ifguests had just left. I was getting frantic, wanting to get over to seemy mother and without a car I could not go elsewhere. The sympatheticdesk clerk gave me a third room where once again I discovered the floorswere filthy. I decided to make do by putting towels all over thebathroom floor. When I returned later that night there were flowers inmy room and a lovely note from the desk clerk. I know the cleanlinesswas not her fault and she was doing the best she could.

Review 129：The bed was uncomfortable for me because I'm used to a much softer matress The only thing I could say to possibly improve my stay is to change the coffee.I did not like the coffee much,and the fact that someone opened the bag of milk with their teeth.The room I stayed in was missing one blind ..That to me should replaced in a unit that is in such clean and newer condition.and the door knob entering unit needs oil before you have damage to key and knob.Thats about it. Review 130：The Canadore Residence was verry , verry clean.The washroom ,including shower were like brand new,spotless clean.I was surprised at how huge the unit was.You have control of the heat and air conditioning.I paid less here than all other hotels that I searched and didn't expect what we got.I was extremely happy for picking this location to stay at.There was no carpet in my unit and other than for a few scuff marks on the floor the entire unit could pretty much be compaired to new. Excellent service at the front desk.The staff at the front desk were verry kind,pleasant and helpfull to any questions I had for them.On a scale of 1 to 10,I would give them a score of 10 .If I'm in North Bay again I will most deffinately be staying at the Canadore Residence.

Review 131：There was no off button for the fan in the bathroom.Had to close the door, found it hard to sleep with that fan running all the time.
