Review 1：Getting in and out of the parking may be tricky with a large vehicle.

Review 2：Very nice location, convenient parking, classic styling inside and out. Rooms were very clean and comfortable, good size shower/bath. Service was always friendly and helpful.

Review 5：My room was in the small villa(?). The floor was made of wood and every time I walk in the room, the wooden floor makes the unpleasant noise. In addition, the wall or (and?) the ceiling was very thin so that I could hear almost every noise from neighbours when I was in the bed at night. Unfortunately I had neighbours with bad manner and they started to watch TV at 2:00am or 6:30am and I could even recognise that they were watching CNN because I could hear very cleary the music of CNN.

Review 9：This is our third stay in Ascona and this time was the best because our hotel choice was just what we wanted. The staff were helpful and friendly. The location is first class and parking is possible either undercover or in the hotel's own car park which is nearby.

It was one of the most beautiful rooms we have ever stayed in, with 20 foot ceiling with frescos on the top and walls, and a walk up bathroom. Great staff. Wonderful breakfast and dinner. A perfect place in a perfect town.

Review 48：For North American travellers , note that we had a real queen bed notseparate beds pushed together. Very comfortable. The hotel is in a 13thcentury castle (a small one) but has ben modernized subtly to retainthe feel of an old building while having modern comfort. The staff werevery accomodating, attentive and polite in 4 languages (tho noteveryone spoke every language). With the private swimming pool in thecourtyard, and comfortable sitting room next to the lobby it felt likea mini-resort.

Review 53：There could be two chairs on the balcony in a double room, not just one :) Two single mattrasses in double bedframe in a double room - I would understand if it had been twin beds but this was one single frame that could not be pushed apart for twin use so didn't understand why there could not be a double mattrass too. Bit too expensive for this kind of hotel but that's Switzerland...
