Review 1：Hotel is right under the airplane path so we got woken up a lot, weren't able to get the shuttle, not a good place to stay if you want to explore san jose

Review 3：Photos are inaccurate/misleading on the location. Error in the booking between booking.com and the hotel, they tried to charge me more, and even when I showed them proof of correct booking. Charged an extortionate amount for sheets of paper needed toll for printing tickets.

Review 15：I liked the location as my husband had a red eye flight and didn't want me driving in the middle of the night. I liked the made to order typical pinto breakfast along with the continental offerings. I liked the dinner served the night before and I received a knock on the door to make sure I made it to dinner before the kitchen closed.

Review 17：Although the neighborhood seems sketchy, the lodging is in a little compound and with easy airport access and a free shuttle. We went strait from Monte Verde on the afternoon bus to the airport drop-off. Walked to the cab stand at the airport and caught a well regulated cab for transport. The airport cabbie knew how to get us there quickly despite it being rush hour. Our departure was easy on the free shuttle.

Review 18：Front desk staff were abrupt and not particularly helpful and had a very rude attitude about checkout time. Cost of beverages was high and poor exchange rate. Location was not close to any alternative for eating or obtaining currency.

Review 28：There were signs at the desk asking to be paid in cash, which we didn't have. They did accept our card, but that was off-putting, since we had held the reservation with a card. The restaurant was not-so-great. The staff, on arrival, was not very warm. The registration card asked if we wanted wake-up. I said yes. After I was already in bed I realized that there wasn't a phone in the room, so I kept waking up through the night checking my watch. We DID get a wake-up, but it was a knock on the door. Wish I'd known to expect that, then I would have gotten some sleep.

Review 29：Very prompt about airport shuttle pickup and delivery. Also, we had an early flight, but breakfast was set out early enough to eat. I really appreciated that.

Review 30：The staff was very helpful, showing us maps to get to stores for items the teenagers had failed to pack. The breakfast was an easy buffet with the classic rice, beans and eggs with plenty of fresh fruit and yogurt, cereal, with a pretty setting of tropical plants. The best part, only a 10 min taxi ride from the airport, especially helpfully when you get in late and your rental agency is closed til morning!

They provide breakfast and have a menu for dinner with VERY reasonable prices. We ate dinner for 14$ but when we went up the street for lunch it cost $40! I was speechless. It was too bad the hotel didn't offer lunch as well.

Shuttle serviceShuttle service is available to/from the airport and is included in the price. They will arrange shuttle service to a few places very near the airport - such as the bus station La Radial - or to the Denny's for shared van shuttle pickup service.

Review 66：Fantastic staff - very helpful with regards to airport transfers (picking me up at the car hire place!) and transfer the next morning back to the airport at my chosen time. The hotel is lovely and feels very safe (behind locked gates) - the area the hotel is located in isn't tourist friendly! The room was lovely - clean, tidy, spacious and a lovely hot shower :)

Review 67：$30 in cab to get to downtown San Jose and 30-40 minutes. Some pop and beer available but no other food outside breakfast times. Nothing in immediate area. There is a shopping mall with food court about 5-10 minute drive away. Area seems sketchy, hotel is completely gated.

Review 68：It's 5km from the airport and the hotel both picked us up and dropped us off. Breakfast was included and there were eggs, rice and beans in addition to cold items.

Review 69：We were delayed due to our baggage being lost by the airline, and after we had filled in the forms and left the airport, the shuttle had already gone! Booking.com has an old telephone number for this hotel - so we were not able to contact them to come back. We had to take a taxi. They took $5 off our bill to make up for this, and we appreciate that, but it was only after a long, annoying discussion. Then the room ceiling fan could not be used without the light because someone had ripped out the chain. Because there is no AC in the rooms, we needed the fan to sleep, but that wouldn't work with the light on! They did switch us to a room where the light/fan worked correctly, but in there the tub wouldn't drain! Altogether, this is not a bad hotel, but it is worth more like $30/night. About half of what we were charged.
