Reviews for Grand Motel Saint-Hubert
Review 1:Our shower's faucet was a little out of the wall so it made a loud squeaking noise and the drain wouldn't plug so no fun bubble baths. Heating was okay, but dry. Room wasn't soundproof, we heard our neighbors. Wi-fi went on and off as well.
Review 2:Comfy bed, all was cleaned very well. Staff was very helpful although their English wasn't too extensive, they tried their best to welcome us. Curtains block out light amazingly, and the parking is extensive. VERY close to the St.Bruno mall - not even 5 minute drive.
Review 3:The rooms are not sound proof and the standard could do with a lift.
Review 4:I liked the location and the friendly staff. It was a quiet place. Ideal for a restful getaway.
Review 5:Room plug did not work. Had to get extension cord from the front desk. Had to plug out the TV to use the plug. AC was OK.. not the best. Toilet was in a small corner had to sit on it sideways. The corner of the jet tub you CA N see the cement. It need to be covered.
Review 6:The staff was helpful and polite. We asked to Change our room and they did not hesitate. Fast service. Shower was the Best. .. lots of power.. very powerful. . Love it.. bed was nice and soft. Very comfortable. Did not want to get out of it. Enjoyed our stay overall
Review 7:Bad room, unclean, just an unclean bath tub with broken shower, was able to feel the spring of the bed...overall very uncomfortable...even thought of sleeping in the car rather than sleeping in there.
Review 8:When you drive up to the hotel, it looks a bit seedy, since it's exteriors are old and the parking lot needs paving. Then, too, the motel is in an area that lacks services; you have to drive (or bike!) to the nearest strip-mall or neighborhood if you want to get something to eat or to pick up essentials. The motel is a little confusing to find, since the motel is in a spot where the street names are jumbled - but if you have a GPS, this shouldn't be an issue. In all, if I came to Montreal on a short business trip or to tour Montreal on foot, I'd definitely find somewhere else to stay. But, if you come to Montreal to tour by bike or by motorcycle, the motel is actually a great value.
Review 9:This hotel is in an industrial area. There's not much near it. But, I went to Montreal at the last minute and when I got there I discovered that only the very expensive hotels had vacancy left. My friend & I were came Montreal to bike. So, this hotel turned out to be ideal: the place is a 1960's-style motel, all units at ground level, which was great for us, since we could roll the bikes right into the room at night: no stairs or elevators to mess with. And, unlike some in-town Montreal hotels, parking was no issue at all, since you can park right outside your door. The room we had was newly refurbished - nothing fancy, but clean. The room had a refrigerator and a stove (!) and a small 1990's TV. Water pressure in the shower was good. The place was clean, quiet and comfortable, with minimal services, but at minimum cost. If you're headed to Montreal to bike around, this is a good option, since you can either bike to Montreal, or drive the bikes to one of the charming little neighborhoods just across the bridge from the city and go from there. It was a pleasant surprise, and the staff was delightful.
Review 10:If they were more professional, they wouldn't make mistakes like that.
Review 11:They made a mistake and I couldn't get the room I booked so they gave me a better room for the same price without hesitation.
Review 12:No garbage. I washed my body with the shampoo because the soap was gross. No conditioner.
Review 13:It has a fridge and a pool. Certainly not luxury in any way but I was there to sleep and the beds were fine.
Review 14:While the bed had clean sheets, it was somewhat hard and difficult to sleep in. Though the towels and toilet were fresh & clean, the carpet & upholstered chairs looked stained & suspect. The spa, while meant to be romantic, seemed sad and we were afraid to use it as a tub lest we catch something, luckily there was a shower head. The whole room had a dingy feel, there was a small hole in the wall from the doorknob, the AC was in a hard to reach place in the wall above the closet nook. We've stayed in budget motels before, and this seemed like a step below them.
Review 15:Staff is super nice, it was very cheap & less than 30 minutes to drive to Montreal.

Review 31:This motel is run down, with paint peeling, dirty carpets, decrepit furniture. It will serve well for a movie set where druggies hang out.
Review 32:Nothing

Review 41:Tout
Review 42:Rien
Review 43:No real food restaurants around area, a little too much refurbishing work going on but in fairness when else can it be done. Area a little bit industrial & not condusive with after hours walking about. No breakfast available.
Review 44:Staff most helpful and even picked me up when lost prior to booking in. Answered all questions & requests with clear and concise information with good humour etc. Easy access to regular buses which suited my requirements very well, no difficulties in getting into the city or Grand Prix train station. price was reasonable & suited my budget & needs.
Review 45:The room was in poor condition, tiles broken or cracked, TV would not display any channels above a children's rating, and front desk did not know how to fix this. I got a serious rash on my leg that has left permanent scaring, uncertain what to do about that!
Review 46:The price was good, for the room chosen
Review 47:Even though it was a non-smoking room, the smoke/must smell was horrific and nausiating to an extent. We stayed out as much a possible just to avoid going back. Located in a seedy area. When asked what's nearby, the attendant responded "pretty much just strip clubs". Thank god it was only one night.
Review 48:Price was only good selling point. But you can find a much better B&B in on St. Denis Street for the same price....only took this since there were not vacancies in the city.
Review 49:Very Budget-friendly and extremely nice staff. There's a bus stop right beside the motel that is a 10 min bus ride to the metro. Not the fanciest place, but is very decent. I mean, you get what you pay for and if you're on a tight budget I would recommend this place.
Review 50:Booked room not available, Given smoking room without asking, Deadbolt did not lock, Commercial area.
Review 51:no place to hang my clothes. Wifi not working.
Review 52:It was nice and clean. It had a decent pool and good facilities.
Review 53:Wi-Fi didn't work at all. Close airport so make some noise.
Review 54:Sweeming pool.
