Our cozy hotel is located in the car-free zone in the center of Appenzell in eastern Switzerland.
We offer comfortable rooms, including 9 typical Appenzeller rooms decorated with traditional wall paintings, a restaurant serving Swiss cuisine and quiet seminar rooms. The hotel is ideal for small groups and individual travelers and is also a very good starting point for hikers.

Review 1：Breakfast could be a bit more diverse. Noise from the street all night long (but it was new year's eve - it's probably very quiet in all other nights).

Review 2：Comfortable room. Very central. Friendly staff. Wifi worked fine.

Review 3：As often in Swiss hotels of that price range, it seems nothing has been renovated since the early 1980s. The bathroom was especially old fashioned and the appliances are totally worn out, as was the (out of use) 40-year old radio console near the bed.

Review 4：The location is great, right in the center of the village. The "Appenzeller" rooms with traditional painted walls are charming.
