Review 1：The Room I checked in was different from what I saw online. So I said so to the front and the employee lied there were no such rooms in the hotel but a friend of mine visited this hotel last year he stayed in the room as same as I saw on website. As soon as my friend said that the front guy changed saying. And I needed a knife so asked to the same man for that. He first said they do not have any knife, but as soon as I asked it to other employee, she brought me right away. Kitchen was totally poor eqipped and water ran not strong. We were six, when we got in the room first nothing was ready for six people. I had to callthe front several times for cups, towels and blanket. Really bad experience

Review 5：The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The location is pretty good for exploring yellowknife and has pretty much all you need.

Review 8：Mosquitoes were plentiful and very hungry for visitor blood (we knew this in advance, and brought insect spray). Stayed three nights. Beds were not made by staff each day. Towels were changed, but not washcloths. No A/C - probably rarely needed, but they were having a hot spell when we were there. WiFi slow on floor 13.
Review 9：Stayed the longest day of year - will return another time to see Northern Lights. Hotel was clean. Very friendly staff. Continental breakfast included. Large rooms: living room, full kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. Lovely view on floor 13, but room on the wrong side of the building to see sunset and sunrise. Would stay there again. 4**** overall - with standard, not special, amenities.

Review 12：The stay was amazing but since you ask there was one employee that was not only rude but I was actually scared to ask him for help. The phone did not work and my son told him that on our first day and when I mentioned it to him that it was still not working he got upset and said it will be dealt with. We were there for 5 days and did not have a working phone. He also was really really rude regarding the laundry room. I was wandering around with my laundry and 4 year old not locating them. They were not marked but he said there was nothing on the door and there was a number on some and not others. It was a weird experience. If there was a note regarding the laundry services it would help with that confusion. The sink was plugged and I took it apart and removed about a cup of grossness. This would not have been mentioned but I loved the view and wish to stay again. That one employee leaves me with a bad taste. Everything else was fabulous.
Review 13：I loved the room, the view, the balcony, the kitchen, the cleaning ladies were wonderful, most staff was awesome.
Review 14：A fire alarm was set off at approx. 22:00. The response of the staff and management was very erratic and uncoordinated. It was very obvious no standard operating procedure was in place or being followed. Every request made by emergency responders was met with confusion and chaos. Very little attempt was made to inform guests of requirements, expectations or direction. No accountability for guests was implemented. The interactions between the staff during the alarm was unorganised and uniformed. This alarm resulted as a consequence of a maintenance malfunction. Safety protocol and implementation of fire evacuation procedures needs to be addressed with management and staff of this facility. Failure to do so will inevitably produce a dangerous result in the event of future emergency situations.
