Reviews for Ambassador Motel
Review 1:Needs some TLC. Limited supply of ice. (First come first served). A little dark at night to access the pool but the view of the stars was amazing.
Review 2:Nice ambience with flowers in the front, convenient parking right in front of the room and access at the back to a grassy, treed area containing the pool. Pool room has a nice lounge area. Pool open til 11pm.
Review 3:It was expensive for a low end motel. The patio door to our room was broken and didn't close all the way (they put a stick to keep it safe). The pool was nice to have but the liner was all wrinkled on the bottom and my youngest wouldn't go it. It was by far the worst stay of our cross country drive and the most expensive. I would only stay here again if it was the only room left in town.
Review 4:nothing
Review 5:Stayed 2 nights great prices, clean friendly. Pool clean had smoking room did not have to stand outside in the rain. On edge of city was nice and quite. Fridge, coffee, micowave in room. Gave discount coupon for casino to play and eat.
Review 6:Again, the billing. I will have to go back to my reservation. Also a suggestion to spray some vinegar in the doggy room.
Review 7:Was very charming, quaint and peaceful. I would like to own a place like that. The person who does the rooms does one of the best beds I've seen. I managed a few motels.
Review 8:We chose this Motel because of the location, and it has a pool. The pool facitity was under construction. Dry wall and insulation everywhere. The change rooms and shower out of use. Pool not circulating with dust on the surface. The owners gave us $10 off our stay.
Review 9:Location, on main road out of town. Room was ok. TV, Wifi, micowave. One of the two beds was comfortable.
Review 10:We were happy to stay here while on a trip to go snowboarding at Searchmont. It was a good location, and very comfortable. The cement block walls, while not very attractive, did make for a very quiet night! There was plenty of hot water and the beds were very clean and comfortable.
Review 11:Not close to amenities
Review 12:Nice n friendly staff, clean, comfortable room, Wi-Fi actually worked; I frequent the Sault and this is the best place I've stayed so far and for a great price.
Review 13:Normally would not choose a motel but all hotels filled with road construction workers. Old, tacky decor, hard-ish beds, but clean.
Review 14:Convenient location. Very friendly staff with great restaurant suggestions.
Review 15:Thought we would be able to sit on back patio but it hadn't been cleaned and the grounds were really messy. Our picnic table was ready to collapse and the patio screens in our section were all torn or hanging off. The tub and toilet were clean but the walls, floor, door and wall heater were filthy. We may have gotten a crumby room because we had a small dog. The general maintenance at this property was very poor and therefore we felt it was highly overpriced.
Review 16:Good beds, good food. The room was a good size with 2 good arm chairs and a new TV.
Review 17:No breakfast but they did have a snack shack for fast food eating.
Review 18:Family run, landscaping beautiful, Excellent location and facilities
Review 19:Receptionist could be friendlier, and the fridge was too loud.
Review 20:Pool and sauna were very nice, room and location is good.
Review 21:The room was a bit dated, but the stale smell has to go...
Review 22:The staff were very friendly, and helpful.
Review 23:convenient location,
