Review 1：They upgraded my room from dormitory to twin for the same price. There were many beautiful collections related to mountains in their hotel. The hotel is in best location to walk around and see various scenery around Aletch arena.
Review 2：Amazing location at 2000m, the staff was very friendly and service was great and very courteous. The rooms were small, but clean and comfortable. This is a slightly remote and basic place, but probably one of the best spots to get comfort and remote mountain feeling together in Switzerland. A bit old style, but with lots of charm and authentic. Food was very good - dinner and breakfast. Price/value is excellent.
Review 3：when we arrived we requested tap water and had to pay 6CHF per glass (total 12 CHF for two glasses of plain water). Considering that we paid some 900 CHF for lodging for 5 and diner for 9 we find this is outrageous In addition, during the meal we requested to open one bottle of wine we brought with us and were ready to pay for opening it (so called 'cork fee') but the waiter forbade us violently to do so. To be fair, besides these two incidences, the service was great, but these incidences are unacceptable!,

Review 5：Situated on the top of a moutain, at a 20 min walk from the town of Riederalp, the view of the moutains is stunning. The staff is welcoming, facilities really clean and food is delicious. The trails to Aletsch glacier depart right next to the hotel. Great price for Switzerland!

Review 11：Being end of the ski season, my experience was strongly affected by how quiet it was-- had almost the entire resort to myself. It might've felt a little like the Overlook Hotel in The Shining if the staff were not so extremely warm and hospitable. The food was delicious, the location stunning. Will definitely stay again

Review 14：I was extremely pleased with Riederfurka. This was my first time inEurope, and I was worried about a language barrier. However, all thestaff were fluent in English, and quite helpful. The rooms were clean,warm, quiet, and cozy. There are stunning views all around. I spent fourdays hiking and snowshoeing around Riederfurka and could not have askedfor a better hotel.
Review 15：We highly recommend this mountain resort. Staying here is a much more interesting experience than staying in a traditional hotel down in a village. The location is amazing, perched on top of a ridge close to the glacier and with endless walking and skiing directly out the door. The hotel itself is very comfortable and full of character. The food served for dinner was absolutely lovely and delicious. I do not think you could find such nice food, for such a low price, anywhere else in the valais. And the hosts at the hotel were fabulous - very nice, thoughtful, interesting people to spend a few days with. They made us feel right at home there in the mountains. In summary, we highly recommend this place to stay if you want a unique, memorable visit to the mountains. We hope to return.
