Review 1：Very noisy construction work at the property next door, all day & into the evening ( December 2015 )

Review 3：Lack of privacy in the ground floor room facing the garden. We will request a second floor room if we ever return.

Review 4：Fantastic view of the city. We enjoyed a nice dinner in the restaurant and then had a nightcap enjoying the view and cool evening air. What a lovely way to cap off our visit to Costa Rica.

Review 5：I had spent the extra money to get a room with a balcony. The first room we were given over looked the laundry room and we asked to move and the only other room over looked the parking lot/ road.

Review 6：We stay here for our last night in Costa Rica. It was located at the base of a beautiful drive up to Volcan Paos , a perfect end to a perfect vacation. The views from the property overlooking San Jose and the mountains is beautiful.The staff and owner made us feel very welcome.

Review 12：The restaurant do not offer fine dining, if you are looking for this. And the service can be slow. The pool was cold. It would be ok during a hot day, but not if it is cooler.

Review 13：It is well located. The area is not so nice, but the property of the hotel is very nice, with a short trail and a wonderful view of the mountains and of the San Jose valley. Staff was nice and helpful. The food is good, but not extraordinary. It is a charming hotel to terminate your travel in Costa Rica if you fly from SJO.

Review 14：We didn't seem to have any AC in our room, and it was quite hot and stuffy with just the fan. Our rooms didn't have any views over the valley, which was a little disappointing, since we were kind of expecting that.

Review 17：The view was amazing outside of our window. And while they say you are booking a room it is really a small cabin perfect for a couple. The owners bent over backwards to help us with everything. This place is amazing!!

Review 18：Helpful staff (we couldn't find the place driving in after dark so we called and they sent the shuttle to fetch us and lead us back), comfy beds, cute pool area, feels great being out in the country rather than in the city. After getting lost on the way out we were worried about getting to the airport for our early flight but they gave us a map and it was less than 15 minutes to the airport. Super easy! Would have liked to have had time to stay and enjoy rather than just over night for our flight. They even packed up breakfast to go for our 4:30am departure from the hotel.

Review 21：But, and it is a big but, we had to change our date because of snow byone night and they charged us for the additional night. They said itwas company policy." I changed it 10 days in advance of the stayand I think they probably filled the room. I find this inflexibilitymore common these days. If we were a "no show" I wouldunderstand it but we were guests! I don;t think I would recommend thishotel to anyone.

Review 22：Only the overpowering smell of artificial fragrance from either cleaning products or ..... Not sure but the beautiful big windows and breeze took care of it within a couple of hours. Food was nice and generous but a bit bland. More outdoor dining space would be nice. Sheer window coverings under the darkening drapes would allow for privacy but still let the light in. Hate to be in the dark on a beautiful day but otherwise no privacy on main level. Loved it all anyway!!!

Everyone was so warm and friendly and even though we were leaving super early for the airport the staff made sure to pack us a to go breakfast plate with fruit, banana but bread and granola bars! Loved the hotel, room was gorgeous, I would recommend this place to anyone :)

Review 61：The breakfast is basic (continental fruit, coffe, juice, toast butter and jam. For eggs you pay extra.). And the light in the terrace attracts some nasty bugs... But all this is nothing, because this hotel is GREAT. Don't think twice!

Review 62：This is a great airport hotel, much more than the usual airport hotel you would imagine. They even have a pool and a coffee trail, and more than everything - some rooms have excellent view of the central valley. On our last day we forgot one of our bags in the hotel, and they sent it to us to the airport in no time (with a special car) FOR FREE!! This is an amazing service! We definitely recommend it!

Our view from the balcony overlooked the city lights and the bathroom was sleek and modern. The gift shop was full of last-minute tasteful souvenirs and the staff was exceptional!
