Review 6：Finding the lobby confusing on arrival. Could use better signs to elevator. The elevator is tucked away at the back of the building pass the shops down a long hallway.

Review 10：Location near the Quadra Island Ferry and within walking distance of tourist attractions was a major consideration, as we were not renting a car. But the big plus is the staff. They were always most helpful. We were able to check in early, before the official check-in time. Lisa at the front desk arranged for our shuttle back to the airport, and provided luggage storage for us after we checked out, so that we could visit the Museum and Farmer's Market. She even got me a cup of tea when the restaurant was closed and we were waiting in the lobby for our shuttle.

Review 11：It was perhaps more of a business type hotel so a more welcoming bar/eating area for the evening or a roof top bar would be a big plus. But still enjoyed the stay

Review 13：You did not have much of a smoking area for your smoking guests. Just a bench of off your main entrance no table just a bench and when you came out it was always full of smoking guests so you had no where to sit. Carpets were very dirty.

Review 22：It was a little intimidating with all the Hell's Angels staying there and their motor bikes parked everywhere...even along the portico. Who would tell them not to???but having said that they were very quiet and caused no problem at all.

Susan is a delight and we always look forward to seeing her. The staff in the lounge are great as well. They personalize our stay by always knowing who we are and seeing if there is anything they can do for us.

Review 34：breakfast quit too early. We have been in many hotels and this was our first experience where the breakfast terminated at 09:00. It has always been at least 10:00. So we missed it because I did not check the times on our chit. My fault. I do not recall the receptionist telling us the time but it is quite possible she did but I missed it.

Review 36：Very friendly hotel. As a traveler on my own it's nice to be made to feel at home. The bar staff were excellent, food was great and the view from my hotel room, with a window that actually opened was lovely.

There are many restaurants and shops near the hotel. We enjoyed the view of the ocean from our room.

Review 57：We booked on-line at a bargain price about a week before. On arrival, we were placed a room with a handicap style washroom. When we asked for a different room, we were told there weren't any rooms available. We were moved to a better unit the next night, but still in the same wing. Parking is first come first served. If you leave for a meal, you have lost your spot. Food in the DJ restaurant was too pricey for our taste.

Review 63：When reserving our room it looked like a cozy, plush place to stay but upon arrival it was many steps under what we expected. The complimentary breakfast was a disaster all 3 days. No coffee, no laundry service even though bags were in closet, air conditioning only in select rooms, We could have done much better.

Review 65：The complimentary breakfast buffet was not maintained well by staff, was very bland with respect to taste (pressed ham, old fruit, dry eggs, cheap bread, etc...), and the dining space was a pig pen. Really, nobody was cleaning tables as they were vacated. We tried the breakfast buffet the first 2 mornings of our stay, thankfully there was a White Spot nearby for our 3rd morning! The 'gym' is a joke, come on, spring for a bit more equipment.

Review 66：The wi-fi worked very well and one of the desk people was kind, attentive and competent (unlike the others). The in suite coffee was far better than that served at the complimentary breakfast.

Review 67：The cleanliness that hits you as you enter and walk the shiny floors. The view from our room was amazing. The breakfast was good and daily cleaning services include bottled water. The staff is professional and the owner walks around the property to ensure everything is attended to.
