Review 1：There was nothing I didn't like. Remember this is a hostel not a hotel.
Review 2：Price was a big factor. For the price it served my need for a one night accommodation well. Clean convenient and easy to find.

Review 5：The wifi didn't really work in the room, we had to sit in the common area (not a big deal). But because the room shares walls with the common area, kitchen AND bathroom it could get kinda noisy. Bright earplugs!
Review 6：We stayed in the private room, which was clean and definitely big enough for 2. The staff was friendly and really great with restaurant recommendations. Though we didn't do a lot of cooking the kitchen was clean and well appointed, same for the shared bathroom
Review 7：If you are staying in Ukee, this hostel is right on the main drag close to shops, restaurants, pubs & groceries. :) The facilities were clean & staff were knowledgeable about the area. Ukee had a nice community vibe, where Tofino may seem a bit touristy this time of year. Check out open mic night at the Eagle's Nest Pub for some local tunes. The Cinamoka Coffee House is a must for eggs, toast & hash. The bread is made in house and is mmm...
Review 8：The double room is very close to the kitchen and lounge room. So it's rather loud when there are people around, talking and drinking. Also the bathroom was right next to our room. You could hear almost 'everything' :-)

Review 10：Sunrise? room had 3 bunk beds in it...2 od which had double beds, making it 8 people in a tiny room..which had sloped walls. I think 1 bunk bed should be removed. Other room Sunset? On top floor accommodates 4 people...so 12 people for 1 bathroom. There is another bathroom downstairs however there are also 2 rooms.

Review 15：Overall our stay was mediocre. for a hostel our private bedroom was very nice, however we shared a wall with the only bathroom in the hostel (at least in the building hat we were in) this wall is very thin and we heard everything. The bathroom itself is very clean but being the sole bathroom it was constantly busy. It also doesn't have a lock on it causing someone to walk in on me in the morning. On a more positive note the hostel is in a lovely location with many amenities close by. They have space for parking which was nice. Lastly and most impacting was the service :/ when we arrived the woman working at the front counter was incredibly unfriendly, and made me feel extremely unwelcome, not only was it upsetting it made me feel uncomfortable. When I left the following morning she didn't even come to the desk she simply called from the other end of the office and said all I had to do was leave the keys and that was it. All in all this hostel has great potential but unfortunately given the numerous other accommodations in ucluelet and Tofino this would not be my first recommendation.
Review 16：The bathroom is right next to the room so you hear everything...the bed is a bit hard. No towels and we didn't think to bring our own so couldn't shower. Made for a stinky ride back home.

Review 20：Cozy, clean, tidy, well stocked kitchen, lovely bathroom, friendly staff, great location. Really enjoyed my stay and having such a lovely place after a long day travelling. Perfect place to relax and recharge. Awesome hike close by. I've stayed in hostels all over Australia and California and this is one of my favourites.
Review 21：There was no light working in the bedroom apart from a small lamp that was not near my bed. I had an early morning departure and found it difficult packing in the dark. Some light bulbs would be a great help for other travellers, thanks !!!

Review 60：The lady on reception was seemingly unhappy with our visit even if webooked more expensive rooms, and so I didn't really feel welcomefrom the first moment. After we told her we are not interested insurfing and we have already booked whale watching she seemed to be evenmore dissatisfied, but this is my subjective impression. The door outside was always open, so the only "security" was a thin wooden door to the room. May be the place is safe, but I didn't feel safe at all in a huge house "open" to everybody, esp. not at night.
