Review 1：All the stairs. and hauling our suitcases up them. We are both over 70 yr. Our room was not cleaned on the day we stayed over. Came back and the bed hadn't been made.
Review 2：Rude and ignorant cleaner. We were just finishing packing 10 minutes before check-out when I could hear a loud voice saying 'I'll get there arses out bed'. When wondering who that comment was referring to it was 5 seconds later a loud and aggressive bang on our door confirmed it was us. On opening the door the cleaner was standing there and said loudly 'you checking out?' Gobsmacked we met the duty manager coming up the stairs, asking if we were Rm 16. The cleaner had clearly complained to him. There was still 5 minutes before we were required to checkout. When hearing our complaint about the obnoxious and rude cleaner it was only then that he apologised and said he would 'talk to her'. I would hate to think what would have happened if we were late checking out. We left disgusted and furious with the way we were treated as guests.

Review 4：There wasn't any fan in my room! I had to make a complaint about that. I was accommodated on the 3rd floor, but this hotel hasn't any elevator.

Review 6：The shower was had no pressure and barely any hot water. We had to let it run for 10 minutes to get any water that wasn't ice cold. There is no air conditioning, which would have been nice to know in a heat wave.

Review 10：The location is not ideal. The people outside look sketchy. There is a loud bar directly underneath the hotel rooms. The music from the bar made my room vibrate until 3 am.

Review 12：The room felt like a sauna, and taking a shower was horrible. It was really dirty. The room itself smelled like a bachelar party, the cologne was horrible! It was overwhelming.

Review 18：There is a bar and restaurant below this hotel. The music is so loud that even vibrates the floor. Nobody can fall asleep in such an environment.

Review 20：Washroom was dirty. Though I paid for in suit washroom but I was given shared washroom facility. The room was very hot , no air conditioning facilities no cross ventilation facility. I could not sleep the whole night. Just get out at 06:00 am without sleeping.

Review 22：The only thing I would suggest is they might want to supply an extension cord. I could only find one electrical outlet in my room, and the t.v. required all of it. I had the choice of watching t.v. or charging my cell phone.
Review 23：Bed was super comfy. The pregnant woman at the desk ran up to my room twice, the first time to show it to me...to make sure it was "ok". I told her I saw the photos, and it was exactly what I expected. The place was VERY CLEAN and the price could not be beat.
Review 24：2 Bathrooms down the hall (shared) No elevator. Locks are not good. Rock & sports bar on ground floor has loud music from 10pm to 1 am (I stayed Friday night).

Review 26：Originally booked larger room had no trouble switching to smaller room to accommodate my buddies in the band, but there was no outlet in my room to even plug in my pc and the price remained the same as it would have been with larger room. Still had a good stay because the Staff at both hotel and Rockstar bar were way more than accommodating!

Review 30：I stayed on a night that there was a band playing in pub below. I was not aware there was a pub on the premises before booking. It actually wasn't that loud but be warned. I was so tired I slept well anyway.
Review 31：Spacious room was nicely appointed with a sink and some toiletries. The bathroom was shared so the set up is something like a hostel but I get a solo room for only $40? Sweet. Showers looked newer and clean, although I did not shower. Loved the old timey feel of the place. Would stay here again.
Review 32：The mattress was lumpy. We were unlucky to stay a Friday night when they had a band that didn't start until very late. I slept through it but my husband had to resort to ear plugs. The bar didn't open until 8:30 pm so we had to go downtown for drink and meal .
