Review 1：This is not a pet friendly hotel. They used to be but they changed it. They still allowed us to have our cat stayed with us, which was very nice. The problem is they said they told booking.com to change it to non pet friendly, but obviously booking .com did not change it. I hope this problem will be fixed by booking.com
Review 2：A weird smell was in the room but it aired out quickly with the AC on.
Review 3：Great location (close to border crossing), comfy beds, all you need for a stopover. Really nice people. Even has a mini fridge and clean towels.
Review 4：I found that there was no light outside of Rm. 207 at 5.30 am when i was leaving to head back home. Downstairs was the same. This as you know was a safety hazard. You tried to save a few bucks but it can be costly if someone has an accident due to no lighting. We used the same bedding for two days. The exhaust fan in the bathroom created a draft which came in under the bathroom door after showering.

Review 7：Very friendly staff, with an amazing VHS collection that you can rent for free. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Stayed there during both of our drives through Sault Saint Marie, and will stay there again during our next stay through.
Review 8：The air condition machine makes a lot of noise and it was installed too close to the bed. It will cause dangers or injuries to the travelers if the machine falls from the wall.

Review 14：The place is really outdated, like right out of the 70'S. Both icemachines were broken and had been for a long time. The room smelled andthe pillows were almost non-exsistant. Poor lighting and the Air had tobe turned up to max to even get the room down to 78. This place sucked!

Review 17：There was a few stains on the carpet but overall, it was clean. It was quiet and I had a good sleep. The decor is really old, but all I wanted is a bed and a shower. If you want luxury, that's not your place. For myself, I was looking for the basic and that's what I got.

Review 48：The room we got smelled of damp and smoke. The TV didn't work! One window was broken and fixed with card board and a stick!!! And the room needs a new coat of paint and bedding + curtains from this side of the millennium - a small cost + effort that would elevate it to 21st century standard, I reckon. Sorry to say but we toured Canada from East to west and the Bel Air was the least good accommodation we had... (This is just based on the one room we had and the one night we stayed, though! Other rooms could be better, I guess...)

Review 50：Very disappointing experience. Dirty room with hairs in the bathroom and tub, and multiple bug sightings. I want to substantiate the May reviewer who was traveling with a pet -- our experience was much the same. We wanted a clean, fair-priced place to stay for a night and this was not it. Will not be returning. Pictures of the rooms did not match what we saw; perhaps they are older photos or of just a few, specific rooms?
Review 51：The motel is old and tired. No where near the pictures! If I'd seen recent pictures I would not have gone there. Dark rooms, and while clean, felt dingy. $10 charge was fair for the dog, however hid good dish was overrun with ants within ten minutes of putting the fish on the floor. Quite off putting.

Review 53：No Wi-Fi in my room (but staff allowed me to use an office computer). When I arrived, there was quite a bit of snow on the lot - it had not been ploughed. Cleanliness an issue - especially soiled carpets in my room.
