Reviews for Hotel Kennedy Boutique

Review 1:We loved everything about our stay. We did discover few things I'd like to prepare you for though. 1 - At 9:30 at night it is almost impossible to find an open restaurant in the area. (Subway was open until 10) 2 - The front desk closes at 11pm. Matthieu lives on the premises and opens and closes. He has to sleep sometime, lol. I'm sure if you are going to be arriving late you could contact him to arrange it ahead of time. He's very helpful so it would probably be possible. 3 - There are extra charges beyond the standard PST and HST. It worked out to about $10-15. The price is still excellent

Review 2:We loved everything. The young night clerk, Matthieu, was very friendly and helpful. He spoke to us in English and even answered the phone in English when we called the front desk. When we asked if they had any smoking rooms he said "no", but then he upgraded us to an upstairs room with a balcony so we wouldn't have to go out in the parking lot to smoke. (upgrade also included a full kitchen.) The rooms are all decorated based on a particular actor or musician, and the decor is all very high quality. Bed was VERY comfortable. The bathtub was an extra-wide soaker. Lots of hot water. The price was extremely reasonable and the breakfast is excellent. Excellent WiFi connection. Parking visible from room. This is a family-run business and they obviously take pride in the hotel. We intend to stay there again on future trips.

Review 3:After booking and arriving they tried to give us a different room than the one we reserved and they charged us 40$ extra per night for the room we previously reserved.

Review 4:Website said 24 hour reception, but when we arrived (just in time) there was a paper pinned to the door saying that the reception would be closed from 11 pm til 7 am. Had the only room without a balcony and the windows could not even be opened.

Review 5:Clean rooms.

Review 6:The room had no pictures on the walls and it felt like a jail cell. Not a comfortable feeling room. I was given another room with a picture on the wall which helped make it feel cozier but I had to pay $20.00 extra for the room change. Not impressed and I won't stay there again.

Review 7:Clean.

Review 8:Soundproofing could be better. Breakfast was a minimal extra charge but was fairly basic.

Review 9:Location was good for travelling between Ontario and the East Coast. Beds very comfortable. Accepted pets (with a fee).

Review 10:Almost smothered from smoke fumes coming inside from air conditioner because the bushes were on fire from some ones cigarette. Had a migraine all night and the next day.

Review 11:The room was very small and not very quiet. Breakfast was skimpy. The price of breakfast ($1.39 pp) & WiFi ($1.99) should be integrated into the overall room rate.

Review 12:The restaurant/lounge across the street called "Delice" was a hoot - great food (albeit a bit pricey) and live entertainment.

Review 13:Limited facilities, but understand it is a relatively small property.

Review 14:Staff very cheerful and helpful at check-in. Older facility but very nicely kept. Good location for access from the highway, and to old downtown Levis.

Review 15:In comparison to 2 other places I stayed in a 1 km radius, it is a mucholder hotel offering less service, yet more expensive.

Review 16:The location was perfect for the reason of my trip. Ample parking andeasily accessible from highway.

Review 17:The breakfast was disappointing. I would have enjoyed yogurt on the menu. Also I couldn't find the hot water. Lotion in the room would have been nice.

Review 18:The staff was very friendly and approachable. Room was very clean and comfortable. Very quiet.

Review 19:Situated on a busy main road, the balcony is very small

Review 20:Clean rooms, quiet, great parking, stylish rooms, close to the trans canada, 20mins from Quebec City

Review 21:Noisy due to club across the street Sheets were older and needed replacing....not very comfortable. We had originally booked a king but only queens were left when we checked in.

Review 22:Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Excellent breakfast...bread pudding!

Review 23:The staff (Nicolos) was very friendly and very helpful. We are a family of five and we made the booking at the last minute. I was pleasantly surprised by the very clean and comfortable rooms. I hate carpet so the wood floors in the room was great as well. Nice shower and great breakfast for a dollar!

Review 24:I didn't like that I was charged an extra 20 dollars for my dog, it was a bit of a surprise! Also they asked me not to walk the dog through the lobby, the only way out was through the sliding doors into the parking lot and I couldn't lock them!

Review 25:I liked the location as it was close to the highway and easy to find.

Review 26:I booked this hotel as a "value deal" when looking around at this hotel I was impressed with the balconies and patio rooms. What we got was a room in the very corner of the hotel that was very small, with very thin pillows and a bed that gave me a sore back. The coffee machine chord wasn't long enough and the scenery was a construction site..felt like we were shoved in the last room available when in fact the place was not full that night. In my opinion it was even worth the price we paid ,even as a value deal.

Review 27:breakfast was good staff was friendly old style decor made it homey recommendation only if you get a real value

Review 28:Even though I advised that we had a small dog we were surprised to find the room we had reserved was not available and because they require us to have outside access with a pet we had to pay for the up graded room and $25 a day for the pet!!!! room only one night table and bed light, no decorating, plain no color.

Review 29:check in clerk Charles, tried to help, very pleasant. After voicing my disappointment he did upgrade my room at no additional cost. Room was newly renovated but sparse.

Review 30:room did not look anything like the picture shown here, brown carpet on the floor, small room. some rooms had a balcony and outside chairs, ours did not.

Review 31:Wi,fi, breakfast included, outdoor tables and chairs, friendly staff. Nice bathroom shower and counter and tile floor.

Review 32:The room is small, bathroom is small. There was no hot tub as advertised in booking.com description. Continental breakfast area is small too many people to accommodate and owner or manager who was there was complaining out loud about someone who left a coffee on the counter and was spilled by a little boy. No class and would not recommend to anyone

Review 33:The location is write off the main highway.

Review 34:They are pet friendly and staff is always friendly and accommodating. The beds are very comfortable and the premises are quiet.

Review 35:The staff was very helpful, breakfast was excellent and location near the ferry to Quebec City was the reason for choosing this hotel

Review 36:No. Room was a little small but good value for money. We were not in our room much.

Review 37:The staff were very helpful and pleasant.

Review 38:Expensive!

Review 39:Location on the way to PEI or visiting Quebec city!

Review 40:25 dollars for a dog is too much

Review 42:Would have like larger towels in the bathroom

Review 43:Friendly staff. clean rooms. Great location

Review 44:Reception Felt comfortable right away

Review 45:just a little to expensive. $180 a night

Review 48:The clerk at the desk was funny and very personable!!

Review 49:Great location, right off the highway. Clean and comfortable. Liked the music theme photos and posters in the hallways and rooms.

Review 50:No problems

Review 51:Perfect location just off the hwy. Very clean and comfortable

Review 52:Good location very close to highway 20 for travel further east. $11.00 cab ride to the ferry to Old Quebec City.

Review 53:Good location, quite, clean. Friendly staff. Close to ferry terminal was important. We had a great time in Quebec!

Review 54:Great proximity to Quebec City. Very good breakfeast

Review 55:access to highway ,gas station ,, night life

Review 56:clean ,comfortable and well decorated room.

Review 57:Staff is great. Helpful, friendly, make you feel at home.

Review 58:I hope we did not pay extra for the picture of the Beatles. Too gimmicky and Unnecessary for the position of the hotel

Review 59:The position near the main road

Review 60:Close to the Highway

Review 61:Always clean and friendly staff!

Review 62:We were hoping for something a little closer to ferry

Review 63:Staff friendly room and facilities good convenient parking

Review 64:Comfy beds. Nice decor.

Review 65:A bit far from downtown.

Review 66:Hotel staff and facilities.

Review 67:lovely staff big room with outside table & chairs spare but very clean perfect for an overnight stop

Review 68:Location

Review 69:decor near the trans Canada highway breakfast was satisfactory

Review 70:The fact that wifi is suppose to be included in price but when payed the bill there was a fee for wifi!

Review 71:A bit dated, crazy parking

Review 72:Great location and reasonably priced

Review 73:Facility in dire need of renovation. Bed very uncomfortable.

Review 74:Excellent staff

Review 75:When Booking.com makes "deals" with various hotels for discounts on rooms, the service should actually check once or twice to see what kind of value it's getting in return. This room was tiny; the shower water was almost impossible to adjust to a comfortable temp - either too hot, or too cold; only ONE bath towel, despite the room being reserved for two people, yet three hand towels and three washcloths - brilliant; ONE tiny waste basket for everything; ONE electrical outlet (a multi-plug) that was located behind a heavy table and difficult to reach;ONE bedside table light; the TV was wall mounted, but faced in one direction only, with a warning not to adjust it; the cord on the coffee maker did not reach the electrical outlet from the top of the fridge - had to balance it on a desk chair; despite the fact that this hotel was far from full, we were given a "deal" of a room in the back, with only a window facing a construction site - many of the front facing rooms had patios or balconies with chairs; we could go on, but the upshot is this - there was no value here, despite the "deal". If you wanted our repeat business - and we travel to the east coast, through Quebec, a lot - then an upgrade to a decent room would have been nice. So, we will never stay here again, nor will we recommend it to our friends who also travel.

Review 76:Convenience to the Trans Canada Highway. Room was clean. Room was quiet. Despite the language difficulties between us, the woman at the check-in desk was charming, and pleasant and very accommodating.

Review 77:hearing the people in the next room talking, blowing their noses etc. being locked out of room at 2am because they failed to inform us that they needed to recode our room keys for the extra day only one small ice machine in lobby rooms are kind of small, no sitting area, just enough space for one double bed and dresser

Review 78:free wifi free local and long distance phone calls near Ashton's (restaurant) was able to stay an extra day at same rate continental breakfast included fruit, hard boiled eggs and oatmeal, not just cereal, bread and muffins extended hours for continental breakfast during the holidays

Review 79:Breakfast room doesn't open until 7AM. Early travelers must forgo the breakfast included in overall package price.

Review 80:The reception staff was very helpful and courteous. Language was a bit of an issue however the young man at the desk was very patient and pleasant in meeting our needs

Review 81:The location was great being just off the Trans Canada highway and shopping and restaurants in walking distance. The price was excellent for the accommodations including breakfast.

Review 82:Not much food other than fast food around (Delice is across the road), would be too far if you planned to spend your day in the cities and commute back for the night

Review 83:Tidy, modern, great stop if headed to/from Quebec/Montreal, nice staff, balconies or patios, comfy beds, mini fridge in room, blackout curtains

Review 84:In the morning I like to leave early, but no coffee to take along. They have continental breakfast which is ok, but only after 7, 6 o clock would be better for me.

Review 85:once you arrive they are fast to serve you , made reservation for supper since we did not know the location well.

Review 86:Bed sheets didn't fit the bed and only one bedside lamp. The hair dryer was broken and no offer of a replacement or compensation was made. I called previsit to ask if they rented bikes and was told they did- they did not have bikes!

Review 87:The guy who checked us in tried to put us into a double bed although we made our reservation for a King room. The pillows gave me the heebie jeebies. I felt like I paid WAY WAY too much for a gross hotel.

Review 88:It had a free room.

Review 89:We got a very nice and warm welcome from the Reception Desk. This person indicated us the best place to have dinner in town and was very attentive to our needs in order to make our stay in Levis wonderful. If we ever have to go back, this is definitely the place to stay. Excellent quality for a reasonable price.

Review 90:Lack of even continental breakfast needed extra coffee in room at least

Review 91:Room staff

Review 92:noise from the restaurant across the street

Review 93:The room's temperature is not comfortable

Review 94:none

Review 95:Big spacious room. Served our purpose to stop a night along the highway.

Review 96:There was an error in the booking, we ended up in a cabin at the back, small but clean, bathroom old

Review 97:Service at arrival and at breskfast

Review 98:no ice/ machine very small and was broken. Elevator to get to 2nd floor was more like a freight elevator

Review 99:nothing much

Review 100:noise from upstairs!!
