Review 2：Extremely clean room, renovated recently. Owner is ultra nice. Breakfast really good. Will definitely go back and will tell family and friends about this motel.
Review 3：The place is totally a surprise, very ordinary from outside, but that is all, the staff is super friendly and helpful, although the room is smaller in size, everything was perfect, so clean that you can eat off the floor, comfy bed and quiet heat. Best value for $$ I have seen, ever.

Review 7：The hosts helped us with travel plans and suggested historical places of interest even though we spoke little French. They communicated well with brochures and made us feel very welcome. Rooms were very clean, quality linens and pillows and the bathroom was also very clean. A great overnight stay.

The décor was lovely with a Japanese theme but with European bed and pillows, with down duvet. Very comfortable. Reception staff were very kind and considerate of our needs. There was enough desk space with small fold up table for extra desk space - something we appreciate as a couple with a computer each.
Review 12：This motel,was everything we needed and nothing more for the night at a great price. Owners/staff were incredibly friendly and put on an above expectation continental breakfast. This motel was the cleanest and most welcoming place we stayed all vacation.
Review 13：From the road, this looks like a little motel from the sixties or seventies, except for the flowers. There are flowers everywhere, which look absolutely adorable, and they obviously get a lot of care. That same care is reflected in everything else about Motel le Marquis. The rooms are colorful and fun: our rooms both had blue walls and coordinating pillows and duvet covers (and different ones in each room, so cute!). And I've never seen such a clean place! Spotless doesn't even begin to describe it; everything was positively gleaming. That kind of care makes a vintage motel truly charming. The rooms aren't large, but they're comfortable and welcoming, and the one our older kids stayed in even had bunk beds! The owners are super friendly, too, and told us about a bunch of things to see and do in the area. And the breakfast was great! It's just continental, not hot food, but there was homemade bread (really homemade, baked by one of the owners, and it was delicious), and plenty of other choices, and the breakfast area is small and cute and perfect and as charming as everything else. The owners are more comfortable with French, but they speak enough English that my husband and kids (all of whom have limited or no French) could manage without too much help from me. It's really an adorable place, and we'll definitely stay again if we're ever in the area!

Review 27：Many little things add up to a comfortable night's stay. QualityEuropean-style bedding, nice towels, mini-fridge - things you don'tget in a budget hotel. But the biggest plus is the beautiful breakfastin a sunny dining room. And the owners can't do enough for you.(Especially when it comes to children - our 3-yr old was treatedroyally). This was our second time staying here and we'll stayagain when we are in the area.

Review 30：The bed covering consisted of only a quilt. It was too cold with it off and too hot with it on. Apparently many people like this European style of bed covering. I'm not one of them.

They have limited English and we can't speak French or German, but we managed OK. Great breakfast, especially the home-made bread. Large room with eccentric furnishings.

Review 40：We stayed in the Queen suite, which was huge and very well designed with a modern feel. The staff was very friendly, helpful and pleasant. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and included fresh, homemade bread and croissants as well as excellent coffee and other assorted foods. We would definitely stay here again!

Soundproofing was an issue - we heard our neighbors apparently taking a bath that evening, and later on, I could hear snoring in the next room (which kept me awake half the night). Pas de micro-ondes dans la chambre. Nous pouvions entendre ce qu'il se passait chez nos voisins, qui prenaient apparemment un bain ce soir-là, et plus tard, nous avons entendu ronfler le même voisin, ce qui m'a empêché de dormir une bonne partie de la nuit.
Review 99：Ideally located halfway between Montreal and Quebec. Owners are friendly. The rooms were pretty nice, each decorated differently, though one was nicer than the other - one room had a high table, and a unique sliding door with mirrors on it which also acted as the bathroom door - very odd. The other room was smaller but cozier, with a sofa, light wood floors and an extra blanket, but it had fewer outlets. The beds are comfortable. There is a small fridge in each room. The bathroom, like everything else, was very clean. Wifi worked fine and we had no trouble connecting. Breakfast was included, and it was tasty - very good homemade brioche, jams, cereal, etc. --- Situé à mi-chemin entre Montréal et Québec. Les propriétaires suisses sont très sympathiques. Les chambres sont jolies, toutes décorées différemment - une chambre avait une table haute, et une porte coulissante couverte de miroirs qui faisait fonction de porte de salle de bain - très curieux. L'autre chambre était plus petite mais plus accueillante, avec un canapé, un sol en bois clair, et une couverture supplémentaire, mais elle avait moins de prises de courant. Les lits sont confortables. Il y a un petit frigo dans chaque chambre. La salle de bains était très propre, comme tout le reste, d'ailleurs. Nous n'avons eu aucun problème pour nous connecter au réseau wifi. Le petit déjeuner était inclus, et il était délicieux - brioche fait maison, confitures, céréales, etc.
