Reviews for Hôtel Les Suites De Laviolette

Review 1:The lay out, the brightness in the room, the little things like lots of electrical outlets, the nightlight in the bathroom, the keurig coffee maker, having a desk/table with 2 chairs was great, the comfortable bed, the late (noon) check out and of course the cleanliness.

Review 2:No elevator. I have a hard time climbing stairs. Breakfast was terrible week coffee. Little muffins stale. Eggs not real. We went to Tims after.

Review 3:The room was clean and very stylish. The breakfast was terrible.

Review 4:Location is a little more remote than other hotels in the area, making making for a low walk-score. Traffic noise on the bridge was noticeable, but not a problem.

Review 5:Friendly Staff, very clean. Kitchenette had everything we required (except dishes or utensils- not an issue for us) and was in excellent condition.

Review 6:I can't think of a thing - and I'm pretty fussy. You won't be disappointed.

Review 7:This hotel was very clean, friendly and reasonably priced. We were driving through, heading to Quebec City, for our special wedding anniversary; which happened to be this very day. We couldn't have been more pleased with this hotel. The staff were friendly and helped us select a restaurant nearby to eat at. They offered a terrific complimentary breakfast that went above and beyond your standard 'free breakfast'.

Review 8:The price quoted to me by email was considerably less than what was charged.

Review 9:The rooms were clean and the man at the front desk was very helpful. He bed was wonderful

Review 10:The smaller rooms are small, with a murphy bed. We experienced a problem and had to be moved at 9 p.m. That was a pain, but they did upgrade us to a very nice suite and gave us breakfast passes. Beware of the back entrance; no stripe is painted to warn of an almost invisible step when one opens the door - I am still feeling the effects of the fall. My husband told me to watch where I walked, and then he tripped on the same step an hour later. They need to paint a yellow warning stripe.

Review 11:Rooms and bathrooms were very clean. It was an older property, decently maintained. Furnishings were modern and attractive. Beds were fairly comfortable. Staff was very good - welcoming and helpful,

Review 12:We were on the first floor close to highway and a large generator that ran constantly. Room seemed small compared to pictures online. Asked to see a room upstairs and possibly move to another room. Clerk said there were not any rooms available, yet parking lot was not even half full. Booked for 2 nights but left after night stay.

Review 13:The room was clean.

Review 14:The traffic was terrible on the main street outside. We understand that you had no control over this "mess," but it was a disappointment.

Review 15:A beautiful hotel in a beautiful location.

Review 16:The grounds were well kept but extremely dated. Hallway going to the room was dark and smelly and inside the room the atmosphere was dated back decades ago. For the same money go to the days inn or comfort in. The food in the morning was average.. The maid did not change our towels we left on the floor in the bathroom she just neatly folded them although they were clearly dirty.

Review 17:Wifi worked well in the room as promised.

Review 18:Ice machine on this particular floor was not free but free on 1st floor. Why not advise travelers of this

Review 19:Walking into the room one sensed that this room was saying "Welcome"

Review 20:That we had to carry our luggage up two flights of stairs, there are no elevators. That was our only complaint. Over all I give it a 9.

Review 21:The hotel was beautiful, the room was so elegant, and the area was great. Staff didn't speak French well but the gentleman was so kind and helped us out ordering supper.

Review 22:The beds were especially comfortable, the room very comfortable with WIFI that actually worked well. The breakfast was very good, and the staff friendly and helpful.

Review 23:Excellent value. New, friendly staff, clean and comfortable. Close to highway enroute to Quebec City. We chose this Hotel also, because of the outdoor pool for our kids. Clean and tidy and very well kept. Would highly recommend.

Review 24:The pullout chesterfield required being made up and the mattress was old, thin and caved in in the middle ! This was not conducive to a good nights sleep.

Review 25:I liked the cleanliness and pleasant appearance of the room the bed was comfortable , the bathroom clean and well appointed . The breakfast was fresh and offered lots of choice at a reasonable price .

Review 26:Our second stay a few evenings laterer was marred by a very uncomfortable sleep!we had to change rooms because I have a problem walking and couldn't manage the stairs to the second floor. We upgraded to a suite with a pull out couch. The couch was awkward to transform to a bed and I had to make it up before I could sleep. The mattress was bowed into the middle and so thin I could feel all the supports underneath. The air conditioning was off and we couldn't figure out how to turn it on. The room was beautiful and other than the pullout was really comfortable

Review 27:The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was well appointed and the products available for bathing were awesome. The first room we had with the pull down bed was extremely comfortable The breakfast (for a small fee ) was hot and very tasty. There were lots of choices available. The pool was somewhat small and only seasonal but people were enjoying it. The overall experience was classy and definitely above average

Review 28:None

Review 29:The young man at the front desk was excellent. Spoke perfect English as we did not speak French. So helpful re directions and where to eat. Breakfast super for the great price.

Review 30:Friendly and helpful staff, convenient location to autoroute AND to downtown. Comfortable clean rooms and very easy on-site parking. Good value for money.

Review 31:We would have liked our "outside" key to open up the door to the main building when we came over for breakfast (it was very cold out). We also found the small booths in the breakfast room very narrow.

Review 32:The room was very spacious and well appointed.

Review 33:It would be good to have some premium channels, or the "Golf Channel" to watch. It seems like this hotel is not interested in stepping up the TV listings, because I keep coming back, and the selection is terrible. I will call first next time I book, and if the TV selections have not been upgraded, I will find another hotel, sorry.

Review 34:breakfast room, and suite type room set-up.

Review 35:They have a no cancellation policy for group reservations. We were there with a hockey team and the boys were out of the tournament early, so we were forced to pay for a night we didn't need.

Review 36:Handy patio doors on 1st floor rooms for unloading and loading. Spacious well designed rooms.

Review 37:They claim that it is a hotel speaking your language, but in cafeteria, you have to speak French. And more, an asian servant for breakfast ever shows an altitude in serving table. Maybe, ...you got it, didn't you?

Review 38:- Room was located in the basement - No elevator, only steps to basement - Hot-tub had extra drain cover sitting in the bottom of it. - Windows (ground level) opened up to parking lot

Review 39:Very accommodating. Room was clean. Location was very favourable. We included breakfast and the food was good and the selection was plentiful. We decided to return for a second time on our way back home. Highly recommend it.

Review 40:The rooms were very comfortable. The kitchenette was perfect for snacks and quick lunches. The suite was a large space for 4 people (2 children, 2 adults) to comfortably share. The fact that there is a separation of rooms and 2 TV's in each room for those in each room to watch separate programs. I have been to Les Suites De Laviolette before, and would definitely return there when traveling to Trois Riviere in the future. I recommend this hotel for couples and families. Miriam Plymouth, NH

Review 41:Though an older hotel, and maybe not as up-to-date in decor as many boutique hotels I stayed in, it was absolutely one ot the cleanest places I have stayed in a long time. The staff was extremely helpful. The location could not be better for getting on and off the interstate.

Review 42:The area where we were was not accessible, the corridors were too hot and muggy (this is a VERY warm summer) and carpets were a bit worn out.

Review 43:Location, staff, facilities, cleanliness, romantic atmosphere and its being within walking distance from an excellent restaurant Castel des Près!

Review 44:Very clean allowed us to check in early and very accomadsting

Review 45:proximity to everything and comfort

Review 46:Friendly staff and well appointed rooms for the price. Located on the shore of the St-Laurent.

Review 47:The room was cold. Despite turning up the thermostat the heat didn't come on until morning.
