Review 1：Somewhat thin walls.
Review 2：Quaint little motel. Nice and quiet for the most part, and just off the beaten path. Very clean; great amenities (i.e. very well stocked kitchenette). Showers had nice hot water, with good pressure to boot! Room had a very welcoming vibe/atmosphere ... House-keeper(s) even did my dishes for me one night (to my great surprise) - musta been a mistake though, hah! Luckily I didn't get used to it ;P. Great view of the ski/stars at night.
Review 3：From the moment you arrive you feel like family. The owners take GREAT pride in their establishment, which is readily evident in the cleanliness and overall visual appeal of the motel.
Review 4：Only downside was the door knob lock. It was very difficult with arthritic hands to unlock.
Review 5：The owners were friendly and easy to be with. Their European coffee and homemade muffins were so delicious. I could hardly wait for them each of my 3 mornings and the warm good morning. The gardens and water fountain made this a beautiful spot.

Review 7：The hostess was very welcoming and friendly! We enjoyed being able to sit out in the yard in the Adirondack chairs and enjoy the evening. The room was very clean, comfortable and quiet with air conditioning and a fridge.

Review 10：North Star is conveniently located within a 3-minute drive from the town core. It is a family-operated motel, and the hosts are incredibly hospitable and friendly. We stayed at North Star over the May long weekend, and for a family of four the room was spacious enough to feel comfortable. There was even a dining area with a table and chairs for everyone. Thanks to the kitchenette, we did not dependent that much on public eateries. The on-site hot tub was a nice place to relax after a day of hiking around. Overall, we had a fantastic stay, and will definitely stay there again when traveling around Kimberly.

Review 21：The only thing that wasn't great was the wifi. It was pretty dodgy and I had some work I wanted to do so it was a little frustrating. If you are not doing business this won't be an issue.
Review 22：I really liked this little spot. Cute, clean, really nice people , very helpful and friendly. I thought the complimentary coffee in the lobby was pretty good and I'm pretty fussy about my coffee. I felt safe there. It's close to the highway so you can hear the traffic but it wasn't an issue at night time. The beds were super comfortable, we both slept very well. They do have a hot tub there, we didn't have time for that but it looked charming .

Review 24：A wonderful husband/wife that own & manage this motel. They were very friendly, welcoming & warm. Loved the fresh baked muffins & OJ in the morning! Outdoor hot tub was fabulous where they have it located, very clean & well kept. Enjoyed the numerous seating areas on the property to relax with a glass of wine (or coffee) to enjoy the fresh air & lovely well groomed property. Much quieter than being in town , just a short drive away.

Review 28：This is hospitality at its best. We were welcomed by the owner efficiently and warmly. She was extremely helpful with local knowledge. We were offered coffee and biscuits. We were encouraged to use the garden and the hot tub. Rooms were well equipt and comfy.
Review 29：We almost missed the entrance because there is a B&B sign just beyond their drive and the motel sign is hidden by the tree growth. Internet connection is a bit wonky, but hey, I am at a Clarion in Calgary right now and I have the same issue. I don't judge a place by the quality of their internet connection.
Review 30：The room was exactly what was in the picture on Booking.com. We were told that the air conditioning had been put on prior to our stay "because there is nothing worse than getting in off the road and walking into a hot, stuffy room." Trish and Torben were so friendly and talkative, made us feel right at home. The room was made up for us when we went off exploring for the day and even towels we could have used again were replaced with fresh ones. Trish gave us ideas of where to go in Kimberley to eat and provided us with some highlights of the area as well as a map. The grounds and building are extremely well kept and look inviting. Coffee was available in the office and offered to us upon our arrival. The bed was sooooo comfortable. It felt sort of hard when we first sat on it but it was the most restful sleep ever and the pillows were the right cushiness too! I will recommend the North Star Motel to anyone who is going to the Kimberley area. You will not find a better value for your dollar in all of BC. Trish and Torben are the nicest hosts who make you feel like you have been lifelong friends and have come by for a visit!

Review 32：This remodeled motor inn fit the bit in every way. While it is out of Kimberley a bit, it is not that far...and a great bargain! The room was immaculate, well stocked, nicely decorated...and the owner was absolutely delightful! The grounds were nice with a seating area under a gazebo, a covered hit tub and hiking trails into the woods behind the hotel. We definitely will be back!!
