Reviews for Grischalodge-Post

Review 1:it was not so good....all beds were broken.my partner nearly fell off while lying.if they will change tge furniture it would be big hit then..

Review 2:location was good.

Review 3:It's not that I was disappointed or that I was expecting more, but breakfast had very little choice. Though it was enough to fill your belly ready to face a hard day of hiking!

Review 4:Great location, room was way better than expected, simple, spacious and with a nice view. Just perfect if you spend most of your day out. Shower temperatures on the spot.

Review 5:People talking outside the room sounded like they actually were in our room...

Review 6:You get what you pay for and also some charming staff. Walking distance to ski area and OK breakfast.

Review 7:The room and beds were very low standard, but on the other hand the price was very low

Review 8:Room was by far the cheapest in this area, I doubt you can find anything cheaper in Switzerland right now. Breakfast was nice. Young nice crowd and nice facilities.

Review 9:*Breakfast - Bad (I have stayed in many hotels and B&B's and this was the worst breakfast.) *Dirty, Dusty, Smelly with no maid service for the rooms. *Very old, out dated furniture with nothing new, not even the bed clothes or towels. *No maintenance to rooms, as the water taps spray in all directions as the limescale has never been removed, exposed electric wiring. *Avoid if you have allergies to dust, old smoke etc.

Review 10:Fresh bread is served for Breakfast. (but that is the only good thing about breakfast) Friendly enough owner who we booked in with and checked out and paid, but we never met anyone else.

Review 11:The hotel manager was not there when we arrived, so we had to ask the information booth to contact him. We did not have a cell phone.

Review 12:Because it's a skiing lodge, summer months are quite.

Review 13:Big and spacious room, nice breakfast

Review 14:The place generally makes a "run down" impression.

Review 15:Availability, quick reaction of staff to my booking, uncomplicated & youthfull.

Review 16:Not clean, old, loud youths everywhere

Review 17:Price, parking

Review 18:I wanted to make tea or coffee for myself. But there was no way of boiling water.

Review 19:Free lift tickets during the summer. Big savings.

Review 20:Very nice place to stay. One of the kindness owner I ever met :)

Review 21:Staff Location Price Comfort

Review 22:Poorly maintained and overpriced for the low quality of the rooms

Review 23:Location

Review 24:nothing

Review 25:Very nice staff Good location Great value Decent breakfast incl

Review 26:cold in roms at night

Review 27:friendly staff , free parking, good price for swiss hotels

Review 28:Great value for money

Review 29:Nice place, quiet and very helpfull and friendly owner.

Review 30:The Schumacher family and their personal touch is extraordinary, both in terms of hotel and restaurant quality and ambience, while the location with easy access from the mortorway, direct at the new lift to the wonderful Arosa area and direct view to the WELT CUP track

Review 31:Staffs were generally friendly however personnel first impression was a bit poor. Room was okay, only beds were not that comfortable but I guess that occurs in every hotel. Overall, everything was just fair for the price we paid and great location (just next to bus stop and lift to the slope.

Review 32:When I was going to pay with my credit card, the owner advised me not to pay in chf but in euro. The rate was 1,24, and he made at 1,19. All this activity to earn 5 CHF more ! Terrible

Review 33:Unhelpful staff - Reception guy didn't welcome at all, instead was in front of his computer and it seems we were a bother for him, though we wanted to check-in. Dirty rooms - Found a beer can and bread crumbs near the bed. Didn't at least provide any soap or hair dryer. Nothing else but toilet paper. No secured locker room to store your baggage when you arrive earlier in the morning for instance. I asked to leave it in their reception room because still safer than in the TV room. He got angry but finally accepted. Very old facilities - It's time for renovation ! Prices were far too expensive for what we got.

Review 34:The breakfast. Very basic but they provide fresh bread, just out of the oven.

Review 35:thin walls :) you can hear exactly what is going on in the other rooms.

Review 36:Location to Ski lifts Breakfast is OK not a huge choice but it tasted good

Review 37:nice sauna and whirlpool
