Review 1：This hotel is VERY basic and the facilities are run-down and uncomfortable.

Review 15：Rooms were in need of a makeover. No hot water. Lots of local food at breakfast, but not that suited to Western taste! Price quite dear for what we got, but then it was carnival.

Review 16：The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We had come for the carnival and they presented us with carnival decorations and cakes as a gift. One man at reception organised tickets for one of the stands for us to view the main parade, which was very helpful. Close to restaurants and to carnival parades.

Review 18：Unruly kids hanging around at a late hours in the night. I had to shave without a mirror because there was no outlet close by.

Review 20：I have found 3 power sockets in my room. First one behind the bed, which was hard to reach. The second one behind the closet, which was impossible to use. And the third one in the bathroom. It's XXI century. People have smartphones and notebooks. Also, I saw a cockroach in the bathroom once.
