Review 1：- the furniture is pragmatic and it lacks athmosphere in the rooms and hotel areas - sometimes hard to get pool towels - no proper blinds, it gets very light in the room - windows need a thourough cleaning - staff speak very little English

Review 2：- beds are comfy - very clean, modern bathroom - good choices at breakfast - nice pool - right next to the parties during the carnival season - very friendly staff

Review 3：Surface cleaning was okay, but the rooms and the pool need a deep clean. Remove soap scum from showers, clean mold from pool, and clean the windows (we could hardly see out the windows in our room!). Wifi and internet access from business center was patchy at best.

Review 4：The layout of the hotel rooms open onto atrium in center of the building - great light! Incredibly comfortable king-sized bed. Good variety for breakfast, including made to order eggs/omlettes. Festive atmosphere for Carnaval.

Review 19：The wi-fi connection was terrible, the IT guy came to my room as they thought it was a computer problem. Once he came to my room, he realize his router was not working properly, they have to move me to a different room, one that was close to the router. The connection was better but it use to come and go. The area it's not the best plus there's not much to do around the hotel.

Review 20：AC was great, as Barranquilla is a very HOT city, the pool was also nice. They welcome you with a non-alcoholic drink, but you get a free alcoholic beverage ticket that you can get at the pool area.

Review 21：They didn't have our reservation in the hotel system, so we had to stay in a smaller room for the first night and they said that they didn't have any other rooms available for us. The next day they change our room for a better one. The door that give access to the balcony was locked. The buffet breakfast was good, but the service was very bad.

Review 25：In a really bad and ugly area of town surrounded by car auto parts shops and weird business, really noisy area. I later found out that the area is surrounded by prostitute houses making the zone even more sketchy. The building appearance looked really beat up and in needing of repairs. My room was too hot and the AC did not work at its best, the furniture was all scratched. The view from my balcony was an abandoned lot filled with trash. The inner structure of the building is open, really hot and noisy. The Hotel held many community activities and it was really noisy even when inside the room. The hotel restaurant was mediocre.

Review 27：Noise from the function room in the middle of the hotel with parties going on till 2am. The bathroom taps in this rather new hotel are ready to be replaced by something of higher quality. The shower head needs servicing. There are no shelves in the shower for shampoo etc. Not enough space on the vanity basin for toiletries.

Review 28：The swimming pool, promptness of service, the check-in and check-out only took 5 minutes, decent breakfasts, hot water available in the shower, the relatively spacious room, friendly staff.

Review 29：The noise on Friday and Saturday night is UNBEARABLE, due to a bar with live music on the corner. (It goes on till 2 or 3 in the morning.)

With an hour to go, the spread was pitiful, nofruit, yougart, juice, or any warm trays left with any food. Therewe're five staff members standing around waiting, but yet no food,no glasses, no forks. How could they not cut up some more fruit, or putout some items? Finally, while I stood there confused by all this, astaff member asked if they could help me, "to which I respondedwhat's here to eat?" Don't show up late, if you wantbreakfast at the hotel

Review 33：The staff are massively rude and unhelpful, no there was no hot running water and its by a busy main road with loud music. Massively over-priced for what you get, please under NO circumstances EVER stay here I certainly shall not be!

It took over 30 minutes, to completea 3 minute process, very frustrating. Finally a manager, or experienceddesk person came over, or I might still be there.

Theyalso showed a price on booking.com but it ends up being so much moreexpensive because of taxes and things they don't include on theprice they show up, which made me upset. There also a place calledla Troja that makes a lot of noise. The girl serving the breakfastbuffet was kinda hateful. I also had dinner once, had some cow meatthat tasted good but was hard as rocks and it was very expensive forthe quality it had.

Review 40：Is a nice looking hotel, it's clean and comfortable, the air conditionerworks great. The guy on the reception is super nice. The breakfast is abuffet and it's delicious. They let me do check out half hour laterwhich was helpful.

Although it's a wonderful modern designwith large comfortable rooms - everything is spoiled by the fact that'sit's built two doors away from a very very loud disco which pumps outmusic until 4am in the morning.
