Reviews for Hasli Lodge
Review 1:Hotel not open for restaurant or bar on Sunday. No Staff either, we were just given a key to let ourselves in and out.
Review 2:Location for what we wanted to visit
Review 3:The wifi was very poor. One of the two travellers was given a much smaller room without a TV for the same price. The staff are friendly enough but cannot speak more than a few words of English.
Review 4:Location was great and the lodge had character. It was decent price and rooms were clean.
Review 5:When I arrived the hotel. No staff was there. Only a paper on the door and it said "Go to a restaurant to get the key.". But, there was no map on it. Therefore, I didn't have any clue where it is unless asking somebody around the hotel. Next, when I arrived the restaurant, the staff said "There is no key for you." It seems the owner of the hotel didn't have the rooms to be available for me, even though I and he exchanged couple of e-mails. Fortunately, I brought the booking confirmation and the e-mail conversation. So, finally, I could get the rooms. But, the process was really really annoying. I was very unhappy.
Review 6:The room and the location are nice.
Review 7:Hotel has no ventilation in the room or bathroom. Can get hot in the summer. Price is high for the room you get
Review 8:Restaurant has good food. Personal was friendly
Review 9:We did not see anybody. When we arrived there was a note on the frontdoor we had to pick up the keys in other restaurant.the owner of that restaurant made us pay in cash. It was saturday 1 August, it seems that they do not work on public holidays but nobody had advised us. That restaurant closed 1 hour later, so they were about to leave us out
Review 10:The room was quite nice, clean and renewed
Review 11:Un-helpful staff, seriously, what do these people think they arerunning??? They consider having a smoke and a drink with their friendsmore important than looking after their customers. After travelingaround the uk and Europe for 50 nights, I believe I can cast areasonable opinion on Bookings.com The room was tiny. The verandah wasdirectly connected to the room next door, so you couldn't leaveyour window open, and as there is no air/fan, things can get a bitstuffy. For the price, with the above comments in mind, this place isterrible value for money. It was the worst place I had stayed in, in16 countries
Review 12:Not much. If I paid 5 Swiss franks, then I'd expect to receive whatI got, but I didn'T. Poor, Poor service. If you stay at this place, which I highly recommend you don't, do not expect to be treated likea customer. The evening staff were nothing short of pathetic. Thebreakfast lady on duty was nice, so she doesn't deserve to bedragged down to the other staff's level.
Review 13:This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Dirty, smelt awful, sheets unclean, people cooking in their rooms nearby. Decor early 1970s and baskets of dirty washing in foyer. Would not put my dog here.
Review 14:The location
Review 15:The staff were somewhat dour and the food was very basic. Although we tried our very basic German & French to communicate, there was no attempt by the staff to allow for our inabilities!
Review 16:Very convenient location for our tour of the Alpine Passes.
Review 17:All too typical hard European beds. We passed on the expensive breakfast.
Review 18:It was comfortable and most everything was ready for our arrival. The room was hot, but thankfully it was cool outside, so we had it cooled off after opening windows. Location was easy walking to the main street.
Review 19:Good bathroom with a great bath/shower. Friendly bar with decent reasonably priced food and beer
Review 20:Better than expected, better than the average review
Review 21:bit harder pillow would be nice
Review 22:good value for money
Review 23:Very small room (but ok for one night).
Review 24:Good location in central Meiringen, free parking, good value for the money.
Review 25:Nothing,
Review 26:Location, the rooms, very comfortable beds, the whole atmosphere!
Review 27:staff didn't seem very friendly, but perhaps this was a language barrier
Review 28:Good starting point for a long-distance walk
Review 29:No phone contact to hotel because only use mobile and hotel has poor cell coverage
Review 30:Great location
Review 31:The rooms were very poorly maintained. The staffs were not friendly. The room was very hot. It was not a good experience for us.
