Review 4：The room was spacious and the room shape and positioning of the beds made for better privacy than two beds side by side. Really clean and well kept property.
Review 5：An extremely clean and comfortable place to stay, even though the room was quite small. We appreciated that there was a multi electrical charger to fit our appliances...the first time we have ever come across this in a motel. The receptionist was friendly, helpful and very welcoming. Very pleasant surroundings and quiet.
Review 6：Rooms are small, but well appointed and very comfortable, with extra special touches, like a jar of candies on the dresser, a binder that has obviously taken much time to compile, with all of the local and property information you could want or need. I was warmly greeted, given a map of the area, and points of interest pinpointed on the map for me - personal care and you have to like that. It's a quiet property, very well maintained and great value for the money.

We heard about Rossmount Inn after we'd booked this & couldn't cancel without paying in full, but Rossmount didn't cost much more, is a lovely inn rather than a motel, & cost includes breakfast!! Picket Fence is a perfectly nice motel . . . but it IS a motel!

Review 12：Motel was well equipped with everything you could need. It was handy having a refrigerator, hairdryer and iron. This was more than what you get in most motels. It was also a convenient location to the town.

Review 14：It was SPOTLESS! The price was great, the room had plenty of furniture, parking was right outside my door, 3 feet away (I'm a heavy packer and disabled) so a big bonus for me. The towels and linens were so soft, the staff were lovely, the decor was a bit dated but that is just cosmetic, it made up for it in cleanliness. The toiletries were high quality, all of the windows opened, there was AC in my room. Staff were excellent! Very kind and take pride in their work. I can't say enough great things about it, 10 stars! I also felt very safe staying there, the RCMP are just up the road.

Review 16：Great staff that were friendly and informative. A 2 minute drive to the downtown area. Our rooms, 15 and 16, were completely renovated from floor to ceiling and super clean!. Best sleep on brand new mattresses and different thickness of pillows to make our night even more comfortable. Our friends were having some wine in cardboard coffee cups in the seating area when the owners came out and lent us some real wine glasses. Wow! We recommend this location for your next stay in Saint Andrews. AAA+++

Review 22：This is a cozy old-fashioned motel that has been modernized and updated. There are several features indicating that the owners care about the environment, including that they installed ceiling fans, low energy light bulbs and a small recycling container in the room.
Review 23：The price. When I booked it it was one price when I printed it out it said another then when I got there it was even more. Would of looked more better a more inexpensive price.

Review 25：We checked in at 2 PM and they put us in room 10 next to the laundry room. They were still doing the laundry and our room was significantly shaking from the action of the laundry equipment. When we complained the owner offered to move us but we had unpacked and she said the laundry was almost done and the equipment will be shutting down. She said she should have told us about the problem before assigning us to the room She said they normally finish with the laundry before check in time so there are no problems. I asked her why she didn't put us in another room away from the laundry, and she said it didn't matter, the whole building shook.

Review 28：We were met firstly by a wonderful owner and a great big smile. We were checked into our room in a matter of minutes. The room was excellent, extremely clean, looked like it had recently been renovated. The inner garden area at the motel was a lovely place to sit and enjoy your evening. This place is so conveniently located to a gas station, minutes from downtown Saint Andrews and minutes from the Aquarium, how could you not want to stay here? We loved it and are going back in September to do it all again.

We were arriving late as our flight into Moncton was delayed but they assured us they would stay awake to check us in well past office hours...what a relief. All rooms and especially the bathrooms were spotlessly clean! Our beds were not only made each day but they also completely organized just about everything of ours in the room (shoes, clothing, suitcases, etc.)...they even playfully arranged our daughters stuffed animals on their beds...what a great touch!
Review 37：Great location right on the way into town. Small and very quiet. Our hosts were very nice, and accommodating. As well as very informative about the area. As I said, an older motel but recently very tastefully refurbished. Nice widescreen tv, and very nice linens and towels. And everything was spotless.
Review 38：They only have two pet friendly rooms available and have a charge for pet cleaning. If you have a dog, stay at the algonquin, they take pets and it is better value for your money. Also there is a local car wash that has a dog wash station. This was very convenient for us.
