Review 1：I had a free upgrade, which is always welcome! The room was basic but comfortable and clean, and I liked the fact that bottled water was provided. There were good options for breakfast, and the location is a short walk from the station and right near the town centre.

Review 2：The hotel was overpriced compared to other hotels we stayed at in Switzerland. We asked for a quiet room but even though the hotel seemed nearly empty we were put on the front above a very noisy street

Review 4：The location is right in the center of town and so close to the lake. Murten is the perfect medieval town oozing with charm! We had a great authentic Swiss meal and loved exploring the town.

Review 50：This is hotel is nicely situated in the pleasant town of Murten. The staff were all very helpful and had excellent language skiills- speaking in English. The dinning was very good and had a varied menu with reasonable prices. As vegetarians we had a good choice. The restaurant was also frequented by locals and had a friendly atmosphere.

The windows where well soundproofed, though, but as the hotel is not air conditionned it meant choosing stuffy & quiet or cool and noisy. I would reccomend checking the room orientation in summer months.
