Review 1：Our 2 adjoining rooms were a bit tight and not so well arranged. That may not be the case for non-adjoining rooms. The only place in the rooms to get together to talk late at night was generally on the beds.
Review 2：The staff was great and so helpful and courteous!! They made the stay very, very pleasant. The breakfasts were very nice with good variety, and the amenities were great.
Review 3：The air conditioning didn't work well in the room. Would have liked the children's room to have been open on week days.

Review 8：There is easy proximity to the riverside walk which made traveling with our golden retriever dog easy. Just up the hill from the hotel is a ancient 12 century church open for visits. There is also a selection of cafes and shops around so it was much more interesting than staying in a purpose-built ski village.
Review 9：Nothing really just the price of the New Year's eve dinner was a bit pricey so opted not to join in.
Review 10：Great location easy access to the gondola, bars, restaurants and local amenities. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel facilities were excellent.
Review 11：Smell of smoke in non-smoking room (granted, it was 1 Jan, but still). Poor maintenance throughout, especially spa area (place needs a makeover generally).

Review 13：The restaurant is fairly big and some guests are more noisy than others, this disturbed us a bit Christmas evening. Having ordered a taxi to connect with bus from La Vella arriving half hour late meant we very nearly missed our bus (3 minutes to departure bus Company not happy)

Review 15：Smell of cigarette smoke in corridors. Pillows too hard. Location was tricky for skiing when weather conditions cause lifts to close to access the other ski areas. Would be ok if there was better bus transport between canillo and el tartare

Review 23：We were given a large room and it was very comfortable as we have our daughter in a suplementary bed. The staff was very helpful (thanks Patricia!) and gave us all information we needed. Breakfast quite divers and can fit the request of various nations accomodated in the hotel.

Jacuzzi and the swimming pool are reallysmall, but we offered a free voucher to Palau de Gel, which is locatedjust opposite the hotel. The room cleaning was not so good, we’dreally expected more. In short, it is definitely not a 5-star hotel,not even close. But, still, it is a nice place, which provides a goodvalue for money.
Review 29：The staff was very friendly and helpful. We took the half-board and thefood was good. The lobby is very pleasant. We were surprised to discoverthat a hot soup is freely available in the lobby on the afternoon, avery good idea. The gondola is easily reachable by foot in ski boots.The hotel also has a small ski rental shop, not just a ski room. Freewifi is available in rooms.
