Reviews for Hotel El Prado
Review 1:building too old, old elevator (only one) old bathrooms, old beds, dirty restaurant, ruined furniture It seems there are better rooms but what you get through booking.com are the oldest
Review 2:swimming pool
Review 3:The rooms themselves were old, there were 3 beds in one room for two people, the AC was very weak, and some of the walls looked like they were crumbling. The food in the restaurant was sub-par. They should get more beach chairs.
Review 4:I liked the location, the fact that it was gated, and the pool area. The pina-coladas by the pool were strong!
Review 5:We decided to stay here since my boyfriend's uncle lives down the block. The first night, the ac broke, the safe didn't work, the iron wouldn't spray it just leaked which caused me to burn my leg and stain a dress and the shower head was broken. The next morning I went down to the "gym". There were sweat stains on almost all the machines. That day, I went and spoke to the front desk about all the issues they refused to have us switch rooms. After arguing with them, they "discounted" breakfast and we finally switched rooms. We returned to the room to take a nap. After washing our hands, the sink wouldn't turn off. It took about an hour to get it fixed. The next morning we were woken up to furniture moving and hammering in the floor above us. The wifi was horrible; I called booking they couldn't hear me. When I finally got ahold of booking.com I received no help. I explained to them all the issues and asked for some help as the hotel had already refused to discount anything. They said they would call the hotel and call me back. It's been three days and I have sent 3 emails with pictures and have yet to hear back from booking.com.
Review 6:Nothing
Review 7:everything. Old rooms, air condition very old and terrible noise, terrible noise from the street and the engines of the hotel. Breakfast vere-very poor. I never return there, I prefer to sleep in the main square
Review 8:only the location
Review 9:Too small rooms
Review 10:The rooms are quite old and haven't been updated in at least a decade.
Review 11:The exterior and pool areas of the hotel are masterful - stunning in looks.
Review 12:The hotel is beautiful and with an old colonial style. It gives afeeling of the past! The big swimmingpool is surrounded with bigpalmtrees, it's quiet and relaxing! The staff very kind and helpful, theatmosphere wonderful and the security good. Short way to shops andrestaurants. But: The rooms need to be refurbished, it was simplydisappointing to see the room after seeing the commonareas of the hotel. The rooms have no safetybox, safetyboxes is located in the reseption. Not very practical. The fitnessroom was poorly equieped, with noventilation and is stinking! But we enjoyed our 3 days and would like tocome back to this unique hotel again!!!
