Review 1：Room was dated and set up strange - not enough light, TV was placed in an odd spot; Jacuzzi surround was dated; desk was too high - uncomfortable to work at; bar had fruitflies - did not bother going down for breakfast

Review 9：The restaurant staff basically ignored me for a late dinner (9:30 p.m.) so I left the restaurant and ordered room service. It was delayed because they had the wrong room. Food was okay, but not as good as I had hoped.

Yourcompetition across the road provides robs ...I asked at the receptionand was told - no we do not have that available ....I booked the roomfor $ 90,00 each night and was charged a different price for the secondnight ...my second night at Monte Carlo ...but my last one for sure !

Review 15：We had problems with the room service. The chef arrived late but nobody told us. We waited 1 hour and 45 minutes for the food we ordered and had to cancel because we had to go out. It was a really bad experience. I'm pregnant and had to go out starving.

Review 19：Nicola front desk was the best thing there....She understands what u say and takes control of the situation very well, if I owned a hotel chain I would look for these people...Very good at what she does, very nice too. Our jacuzzi room it leaked and we were changed rooms at mid- night, my girl was not happy. Nicola if that's now you spell it made her happy for our next night stay.My girl wanted to leave.. The breakfast buffet was said and staff never smiled once, they close up before ten and anything hot is $5.00 more...The free parking was a nice change though....

Review 20：Nothing is open in the night. Room service is closed. Not even a bottle of water. Called in the morning for breakfast room service and they said they were the only person working and couldn't bring up any food. Horrible service.

Review 29：This hotel room was so small that you could hardly move around. We only stayed to drop off our luggage and then went to hockey tournament. My husband refused to stay in this small room. We took the loss and moved to another hotel room.

Review 34：Restaurant was cold. They switched us to the first floor nearest the main lobby. Saturday night, there was a large wedding in the basement below these rooms. Loud music till mid-night. Management did not do much to resolve the issue.

Review 38：we got there and then the room wasnt clean so the lady change us to another room I didnt like how theres no towels only one me and my husband was sharing one towel and then the coffee machine was dirty with old coffee still inside and the lady never once came to the room to clean up. and then we coulnd find parking my husband use to wait for more then half an hour to park somewhere on the hotel when we already paying for room with parking. very dessapointed

Eventhough I had to put a 100 deposit down, when it was time for me to leave I received everything back. Everything was wonderful, from the staff, the guest service, room service was all wonderful. Review 52：There were only really 2 things that were negative about this place, and it was the Wifi and the "continental breakfast". The Wifi was extremely poor; it either didn't connect, or I would only have one bar so I couldn't use it anyways. The so-called continental breakfast was pretty bad - there weren't many options (nothing like eggs, or meat, etc.) and the food that they did have wasn't that great either.

Review 53：Monte Carlo was a nice place to stay in general. The room was spacious and had everything I needed in it (microwave, coffee/tea, etc.). The beds were comfortable as well, and the washrooms were fine. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Review 54：On the internet they show a picture of a dining room with tablecloths. There no table cloths and the carpet needed vaccuming. My room was on the first floor facing the parking lot all you heard were cars parking and car horns. The room was very dark had to turn on all the lights and it still was dark.

Review 62：We have been to hotels that have buffet style complimentary breakfasts! When I was buffet style I don't mean some stale toast and some travel containers of butter. Bacon, sausage, eggs however you want them, pancakes, make your own waffles..... That's complimentary. After eating half of our stale bread there we left and picked up Tim hortons. Kinda spoiled the experience. Because we are a young couple I noticed that the front desk seemed very suspicious and that made us uncomfortable - it was our 4 year anniversary. When we walked into the room it felt moist and had a little bit of a wet laundry type of odor but we febreezed the room and it didn't bother us for too long

Review 66：Several things. 1) was told we could pay cash for our rooms w/ only putting a $100 deposit on my card. The man who checked us in said no it had to be the entire amt as a deposit on my card then we could pay cash when we checked out and then wait several days to get the hold off on my acct 2) booking.com said room would be $806 and some change w/ 13% discount. My room came out to be close to $1000. They were not eager to help me figure it out. I pd the entire amt. 3) Motel was old - not at all like the pic's 4) They had no extra pillows for the pull out sofa & roll away beds 5) pull out sofa had springs coming out of the mattress. Had to get a roll away bed to was charged $10 a night for it (total 4 nights for 2 rooms - so an extra $80 on the bill 6) elevated was extremely slow 7) was asked to get breakfast vouchers for our meal. Never have had to do that b/4. Usually if we have a room we just go down and eat. Was a real inconvenience 8) could not control the temperature in the rooms 9) rooms smelled musty 10) toilet would make crazy noises all throughout the day for no reason at all 11) workout room was a joke. Had 1 old treadmill, bike and elliptical machine and an old old tv - not to mention it was really hot in there.

Review 68：When I got to my room it was nothing like what was shown online. There was a couple staff that answered my questions rudely, like they expected the answers to be obvious even tough I was visiting from another country. Took a shower in my first room and the shower had a leak and it flooded the bathroom. I did get moved to another room where the drains in the bathroom sink and tub were not working properly. The sink got fixed but te tub wasn't right my whole stay. The restaurant was pleasant, but over priced for what you got.

The restaurant had good food for the price, but there were plenty of restaurants nearby as well as a shopping center. It also was located on the bus route which was very convenient.
