Review 1：Flat pillow. Very small shower, don't drop the soap here, not enough space to bend down and pick it up. No wifi in breakfast room .

Review 2：Comfy bed and doona. Very good breakfast included and free car parking. Room size is good, Wifi is free and fast.

Review 3：The room was too hot but opening windows would have been unsafe because someone could have easilycgotten into the room. The photo of the hotel shows a beautiful old building but the hotel itsef is sterile, modern and located behind the building shown.

Review 4：Well I don't know about this place but I think I was given staff quarters. There was one socket - but I had to pull the bed out to get to it. No wifi in room. No pictures on the walls. Room needed some TLC. Floor sloped, I compared it with other rooms and it didn't seem to fit. Rude man on reception when I told him I was unhappy with the room. and a 20 frank note went missing from my wallet which was locked in my room whilst I was at breakfast, there was a staff member in the room next door, go figure.

Review 6：Great location, very friendly staff, and a fantastic breakfast that seemed to last as long as you wanted it to. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Review 7：Bathroom was a bit small and hard to move around in. But since we got a free upgrade, having our own bathroom at all was a luxury.

Review 8：Great breakfast, where you could cook boiled eggs as long as you wanted. Friendly staff. We got upgraded to a room with it's own bathroom. The hotel is across the street from the bakery that makes the world's largest meringue. We tried them, and they are really tasty!

Review 9：We stayed in Meringen for one night. We enjoyed this location because it was very clean, up to date and definitely had a local feel to it. The breakfast was excellent with lots of different breads ( some hot!), yogurts, cheese and fruit. The proprietor met us warmly and spent time explaining local attractions. Based on her advise we decided to go the Aare schlucht. It is definitely worth going to see.

Review 10：Staff was not so friendly at check-in, although they may have been stressed with the tour bus checking in right after us. They were friendlier in the morning. Wi-fi was weak. No bathroom cups in the room. Would have been nice to feel welcome to ask for suggestions for what to do in the area, where to eat, etc.

Review 32：We were located in original part of hotel, our room was accessed by going up a flight of stairs/ lift, out on to the roof, which was on 2 levels and then into the original part of the building. The carpet in our room was very dirty, beds very hard, pillows very soft!

Review 36：When we arrived at 22.30 there were no staff in the reception. Hotel had stated reception was open to midnight. We called the official number to the hotel and waited for 30 minutes but no staff. We then left and got another hotel in the village.

Review 39：When you enter the hotel a particularly strong stench of stale smoke hits you between the eyes. This is ever present in all public areas. The only reason we did not leave the hotel immediately was the fact that our room was free of this stench, and opening the windows ensured that it stayed that way. I will definitely not go back.

Review 40：The hotel is right in the centre of Meiringen, with shops and a few restaurants nearby. It has good WiFi access, and free outdoor parking behind the hotel. Breakfast was OK, with fresh bread, fruit, cheese and some fruit. One could boil some eggs yourself if required.

Review 41：The breakfast is very basic and has no any dishes, just snacks, exceptyou can boil egg by yourself. Double bed really consists of 2 partsput together and has hole along center. Eurostandard wall outlets arenot present.

The hotel is on the main street of the village so close to restaurants and train station. Wearing all the ski gear, the main gondola was a good 10 minute walk but there is a bus nearby if you time it right!

Hotel Rebstock smelled of smoke had a common tv areathat charged $5.00 for Old vcr movies and charged my card an additional$26.00 fee that I never approved or signed for..
